Our contact with all the staff at Oakwood Birchington was without fault, from the initial enquiry to receipt of the keys. Always attentive, friendly and always extremely professional. Our viewings were always very informative, never rushed and informal.

This company, Oakwood Homes, doesn't seem very proactive. When my husband emailed them about a rental property, they didn't respond except for an automated acknowledgment. Despite promising to call back when he followed up with a phone call, they never did. Frustrated, we decided to look elsewhere and contacted Miles & Barr, who promptly responded and helped us find a rental home within days. It's no surprise that Oakwood Homes has properties sitting vacant for months. Perhaps the staff at Birchington Oakwood aren't fully committed to their roles. Landlords should be cautious about entrusting their properties to this company.

We have purchased and sold properties through Oakwood homes for a few years now and they also manage some of our rental properties. We have always found them to be professional, helpful and very responsive to questions. We will use them for any future properties we list, buy or rent.

The whole team have been wonderful from the first visit to now. However, I cannot rate Debbie Thwaites enough for helping to complete this process.

Our sales progressor Debbie was fantastic, a true advocate for myself and the buyer when our solicitors were being difficult. She helped with any queries and was always there to assist. We couldn't have done it with her.

Oakwood have found tenants for my properties very successfully for many years and have always found good tenants. I have now handed over all my properties on a full management basis and very pleased with the service their rental department provide, very professional and all are excellent communicators. Also rents received by Oakwood are transferred to me on the day they receive each rental payment. I would not hesitate to recommend Oakwood to any Landlord looking for an Agent. I would mention a member of staff as being particularily good, but that would be very difficult as they are all equally as good, so thank you all.
