We were selling my late father in laws property and initially we required a valuation for probate. Oakwoods were the only agents in the area that came back to us and helped us with this, so when the time came to instruct an agent to market the property Oakwoods were the obvious choice. They gave us a realistic valuation of the property and what our expectations should be. They did not over inflate the price, as some agents do, just to receive instruction and then drop the price after a few weeks because there was no interest. Oakwood actually sold the property within a week!

Kate and Amy have been absolutely incredible from start to finish. Would highly recommend Oakwood Homes Letting Agents. I have lived in one of their properties for almost 6 months now and nothing is too much trouble for them. Kate was fantastic in dealing with my tenancy sign up. My property manager Toni is also brilliant and is very quick to respond. They work really hard with both the tenants and the landlords to ensure communication is quick and clear. Will certainly stay with them as long as I can.

Just wanted to say a big thank you to Amy Davies for her patience and for not giving up on my nightmare referencing, no thanks to an accountant that was allergic to answering the phone or emails to provide us with the last piece of paperwork that we needed I was pestering her and Oakwood like mad because I was worried I was going to lose the chance to get the property, but she always took time out to take my calls and even helped me get all the documents uploaded correctly by doing it herself when technically she didn’t have to, and managed to secure me my property. I would highly recommend Your colleague Alex , via Enquires made to your office by myself I spoke to Alex who was polite and took the time to listen to my needs and searched through the properties available whilst I was on the phone . He then set up a prompt viewing for me . He was very approachable , very friendly and made me feel at ease and he was honest. I have recently purchased a property through Oakwood Homes Birchington branch. All the staff, Hayley, Christal and Steve were extremely helpful throughout the lengthy process. Because of a problem with the lease I had the unfortunate experience of having to withdraw from a property I as purchasing ten weeks into the proceedings. I didn't want to break the chain on my sale so Hayley devoted an entire afternoon taking me to alternative properties and I was fortunate to immediately find a property that was even better than the one I was originally buying. There were no hold ups and together with the help of Liz Dack, my lawyer at Boys and Maughan, we caught up and completed within the original time scale. At a time of buying and selling we need both practical and emotional help and all the staff at Oakwood (and Liz) were exceptionally supportive during this stressful time.

I literally don’t have words to describe how wonderful and seamless my experience has been with moving to Oakwood and re-renting my property.
