GoogleIt took a while before things started happening but eventually got the ball rolling. The only down side was when i picked up the keys, I ended up getting the wrong ones. Fortunately I had a car and could drive back but in any other situation I would've had to travel by public transport. Other than that the service has been good, friendly and helpful.

GoogleWe went through Oakwood Estates to sell our house once lockdown began to ease and Edward was brilliant at getting plenty of people round (all PPE'd) to view, we accepted an offer and Edward kept us informed all throughout the proceedings. We found him to be very professional, personable and completely trustworthy in everything he told us. Dear Ruth. Firstly we are sorry to hear that you were not impressed with the overall service. However looking into this sale in further detail I can see that your property in Old Windsor was marketed from July 2019-November 2019 and in that time Oakwood Estates conducted 12 viewings, generated 3 offers, of which 2 of these were accepted. On 25/11/2019 you informed us you would like to terminate the sale despite the fact we have a proceedable buyer who was in the process of his mortgage application. I am unsure on this occasion of what more we could have done as it was by no fault of our own that the sale was terminated. Effectively we delivered on what we had promised from the start - a proceedable buyer willing to pay an acceptable price for the property. We wish you the best of luck with you future endeavours. GoogleAh. Two years ago today I had to sit outside this establishment in protest in order to get their inept staff to fully return my deposit. Charging me for cleaning services they could not possibly complete nor intend to complete. Totally immoral and illegal. You can’t charge tenants for services not completed!

GoogleI've used Oakwoods a few times now to find tenants. They took my brief and on each occasion service was always professional and was kept up to date regarding all viewings and offers, right up until check-in. They fully manage my properties and payments are received on rent day itself, using the PayProp App, there is no delay as with other agents! If you are looking for somebody to source great tenants, get you a good market rate rent and provide you with a no hassle service, I cannot recommend them enough!

GoogleWe were TOTALLY given the wrong information about the property we brought .. the agent (Joanne denyer) advised us that the property has gas and they have all the certificates for the gas approval , Clearly that was no that case.when we brought this to Nigel’s attention she completely denied saying any of that..its a major work now were we had to pay over £1200 to get cadent to come and dig and reconnect the gas connection . Just to get commission it’s totally wrong to misguide the customers.

GoogleI have been a landlord since 2004 and have steadily grown my portfolio of properties. I have been with the same agent who has been letting out my properties since this time. For the last couple of years though I had become disillusioned by my current agent. Updates were not forthcoming, marketing was lack lustre and the management of the properties was not proactive. I therefore decided to search for a new agent and via google reviews found that Oakwood Estates in Burnham had excellent reviews and came highly recommended. From my first chat with Shannon I knew this experience would be refreshing and different but I still didn't want to put my hopes up. I handed over two of my properties to Shannon who herself was surprised as to why they were not let sooner. There was a three bed semi family home and a 2 bed penthouse flat. Oakwood Estates were engaged on Friday 17th May. Shannon and I negotiated our terms and I found the team to be very friendly, approachable, flexible and patient. Both properties were let within days, the referencing processing went through and any glitches and delays were discussed, communicated and resolved quickly. Both sets of tenants will move in on 08/06/2019. That's 22 days from engagement of Oakwood! The reasons for the success in my case were: • Hunger to get the properties let and help me as a landlord to get the rent in • Proactiveness • Excellent quality marketing documents • Well worded adverts on various property websites • My favourite one - continuous proactive updates on viewings, feedback on viewings, offers etc. Oakwood are not a new business so this is not a honeymoon period in the industry for them which is why it’s even nicer to see that there are businesses who care about customers and their different needs as well as the business's own profitability. I hope that the management side of the lettings department are as good as the marketing side and the signs so far from my dealings with property manage Lucinda Swaney have been positive. Thank you so much team - here's to a long running, happy and prosperous relationship - please carry on doing what you're doing!
