GoogleTruly exceptional service! From start to finish, the level of support we received when selling our property was exceptional. So what makes them exceptional you might ask? Going way beyond what we would expect for an estate agents to do. Kane and Dan took excellent photos of our property, which generated lots of interest and we received an offer above what we had hoped for and sold our property in just two weeks. After that, they were in touch with the other estate agents, solicitors and clients every day, doing a huge amount of the work that the solicitors should have been doing, chasing everyone in the chain regarding outstanding enquiries. Plus, repeatedly actually answering enquiries for the solicitors by obtaining documents from the council, from the Land Registry and other sources, all which should have been done by the solicitors. At one point, we were massively delayed waiting for the Land Registry to complete a boundary change. Our seller's solicitor was claiming to be regularly checking the portal a chasing it, but Kane phoned the Land Registry and discovered that there had been an error which meant nothing was happening. If this had not been discovered, we definitely wouldn't have moved house. There were so many other interventions by Kane, too many to list here. He must have made hundreds of phone calls and sent countless emails. Our solicitor said it was a really difficult case, but most of the issues along the entire chain were actually solved by Kane at Oakwood Estates and our solicitor sent him an email of thanks when we exchanged. Even at exchange, Kane was informing us that our buyers' solicitor was taking authority, nursing the sale over the line. Brilliant!PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

GoogleFor our first time renting through an agency we were blown away by the professionalism and how the agent helped us through the whole process. We went for a viewing and the agent helped us close a deal with the landlord within an hour and a half, the tenant portal was set up with all the information we could have needed and we began the process then moved in just this weekend gone. We didn’t have to worry about anything! A huge thumbs up and a big thanks to Dominick and Daniel for always responding and helping us stay at ease throughout. GoogleSo let me tell my experience with Oakwood estates, on 26 dec I was viewing property for which I left holding deposit of 173 pounds, on 28 dec I was informed that landlord pulled out from offer and I was offered to look into other current offers offered by Oakwood estates, but there was nothing in which I was interested so on 30 dec I contacted agent who was showing me property and I requested my money back, 2 January still nothing no money back, so I called Oakwood estates office and I was advised to give my bank details as my agent never even asked for them but he told me that it will take 3 working days (off course), ever since then I’m calling every day and asking for my deposit back! And every time I’m being told that someone has to sing it or it’s being currently processed, today on 7th January I called today and was advices that refund gonna be back by midnight and that I gonna receive email with confirmation , overall been tossed around like a little kid maybe it’s just me being unlucky who knows

Thank you for your review. After investigating your file, I can see that the landlord had accepted your offer and then decided to proceed with a private offer he had received from a family friend. As there were no contracts signed, unfortunately the landlord was able to do this. As you suggested, we did offer you alternatives however there was nothing suitable. Our refund process can take up to 7, 10 working days due to the security checks that we have to abide by. I am pleased to confirm that this issue was resolved back in January.
