GoogleDo not use these agents to buy any property. Total liars and time wasters. Lied to me for 3months that the probate was cleared on the property, but it had not even begun. Costed me over £1000 in legal fees to walk away from the purchase. The agent never gives updates or feedback, but simply lame excuses to kill time. Typical estate agent deception just to get their sales targets. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!
Dear Sanjeev Your review is disingenuous and not reflective of your aborted purchase with Oakwood Estates. As you pointed out you withdrew from the purchase and as such conveyancing costs were incurred. Conveyancing on a purchase can become protracted and this is out of the hands of the estate agent. In this instance a bereaved family were dealing with their late mothers estate and delays occurred in responding to their solicitors, however your own conveyancers compounded this situation. As experienced agents we advised you not to get fixated on the granting of probate and concentrate on the conveyancing and reassured you on numerous occasions. Had you not emailed in withdrawing from the sale your purchase could have concluded within days as probate has been granted. Your reference to ‘lame excuses’ is again unfounded you simply did not like the updates given, again it is most unusual for purchasers to insist the agent contacts both husband and wife independently to relay the same information. GoogleThese estate agents in datchet are totally inept and try to play over smart games with buyers. I give a used car dealer more credit! Total time wasters and are just scavengers for commission. Go buy from a proper agent and dont trust this agent.

GooglePoor show even before any service. Me and my wife really wanted to view a property which they had advertised to let. It looked perfect. I called the agency a fair few times (practically every other day) and was told they don't have access to the property yet. A chap called Ryan told he once he has access he will call me back to arrange a viewing. I said okay. I heard nothing back and a few days later saw online that the property had been let. I called back and was told viewings had already taken place - and an offer made by someone. Didn't make any sense to me considering I had made my interest clear and was told no access to view so many times. Also no call back when they had my details. Proceed with caution and don't rule out disappointment.
Thank you for your review. I am sorry to hear of your experience. For this particular property we received 60 new enquires within a 3 day period and after a frustrating delay from the current tenant we were given last minute access and a small viewing window of 1 hour. The viewing durations were therefore restricted to 10 minutes per appointment and booked in the same order they were received and so we had a lots of disappointed applicants that missed out as only 10% of our incoming enquires were able to view. We endeavour to contact each enquiry within a 24 hour timeframe in order to give everybody the opportunity to secure an appointment however on this occasion we were unable to comply with our usual standards. I apologise that your call was missed and that your viewing request was unsuccessful. I’m sure if you opt to view with us again in the future your experience will be a positive one. GoogleOakwood Estates Datchet have been a breath of fresh air to work with during our search for a property. Especially Charlotte who has stood out as being honest and genuine, which in my experience with agents is rare. She is disarmingly friendly and has lent us her in depth experience of the area and expertise in the property market, which has proven invaluable to us. She is helpful, open, and to my mind trustworthy. More than once has gone beyond my expectations of a estate agent, and has made what is a very stressful process, less so. I feel confident having her, and Oakwood Estates in my corner, that we will find an amazing home.
