GoogleI was looking to rent a property. Due to my income being low until my employment is sorted when I move from this area I was told if I had a guarantor it wouldn't be a problem to rent this property. My income covers the rent and living money but they want it to be 44k rather than 34k. I arranged sorting out a guarantor and phoned Ryan back feeling excited to be told the landlord doesn't want a guarantor. I'm not too sure why I ran around sorting this based on incorrect information. He even said his manager had said about the guarantor. I have wasted 3 days in looking for a property whilst chasing this one . Was promised call backs at specific times when he had checked information or spoken to his manager. Each time I had to call multiple times and he was either on the phone or out the office. It is very unfair to give incorrect information especially when I explained the seriousness of my situation and knew I need to move ASAP. I feel I have had my time wasted.
Dear Stacy, We are extremely disappointed to receive your review and feedback. Unfortunately, as Ryan explained there are references which need to be passed in order to rent any property. The income reference requires you to earn 30 times the rental figure per year, this is very common with any agency and as you mentioned, you did fall short of this. The landlord of the property you enquired on was more than happy to accept a personal guarantor which is what Ryan was under the impression you would be putting forward, not paying a company to stand as one for you. It is the landlords decisions and we must respect this as they need to feel confident in the applicant proceeding with their property. We are very sorry you feel your time was wasted however I can see that Ryan did try to call you before he had agreed to on occasions and purposely did not arrange for you to view the property to avoid any time actually being wasted, going to the property and physically seeing it. We are more than happy to try to assist you in finding a property should we have a landlord that is comfortable accepting a company as a guarantor. Yours sincerely Claire Davies Marketing Assistant.

GoogleWe wanted to view a house...but viewings were already scheduled and we were 25 minutes away. The Estate Agent - Domininc - agreed to wait for us and once we were there, did not rush us at all. He gave us as much time as we wanted, answered all our questions and was so very helpful. We cannot praise him enough, nor thank his colleague Emma for arranging the viewing at such short notice. The house wasn't for us, but we definitely recommend Oakwood Estate Langley for their outstanding service.
