GoogleJosh and Edward are a credit to the industry. I wanted to move rented at short notice due to work and they let me do it with no quibbling and they finalised return of deposit hassle free and relet the property quickly I see so the landlord I guess is happy too.

GoogleExtremely unprofessional. I was scheduled to move into my property on June 6, but the date has been repeatedly postponed. Despite providing all requested documents promptly, they ignored my emails for days. They were fully aware that my current lease is ending, leaving me at risk of homelessness but they still seemed unwilling to work with me. On top of that my agent Abby appeared uninterested in my case, making the entire interaction feel unprofessional and awkward, as if she didnt want to deal with me. To make matters worse, they refused to return my holding deposit - the money i desperately need right now, given that i dont have a place to stay. Overall, it was a terrible experience, avoid at all cost.
Dear Mr Markovski Thank you for taking your time to leave this review. Unfortunately your review does not show the account of events that we have on our side. When we were going through referencing with you, you provided us with your old contract of employment which was not able to have passed referencing with the information provided within this. We tried to chase you multiple times to provide us with the new contract of employment which you didn’t do and said it would be impossible to do so. We also offered you one of the cheaper rooms that would have been able to get you through referencing with the old contract of employment but this was rejected by yourself. We tried every way possible to get you through referencing but were not provided the information needed from you to do so, because of this we could not proceed as you were not willing to assist in matters to secure you a property, as per the terms agreed by yourself the holding deposit in that case is nonrefundable. We cannot see any delay in response to you apart from one day which Abby was off unwell, you did have the office line and could have called in to discuss with another member of staff on this one occasion. Every potential tenancy for us is equally important which is why we took so many steps to try and get yours across the line, we are committed to ensuring we give every tenant the benefit of the doubt and try to find solutions to problems. However when we are not provided with what we require to get you through the referencing process with a third party, the tenancy could not proceed without us having your employment verified. GoogleMy experience with Oakwood Estates has been disappointing, contrary to the many positive Google reviews, which I suspect are written by their marketing team. The estate manager, Charlie Aldridge, acted very unprofessionally during our departure after a one-year stay. They are attempting to withhold our deposit by providing unreasonable repair quotations. It is expected that there will be some wear and tear after a year of occupancy, but Charlie Aldridge seems unable to understand this basic principle. She appears to be trying to retain the entire deposit for questionable reasons.

Please note that subject to Google guidelines you appear to have left two separate live reviews on our account which is deemed to be a violation. We understand your frustration regarding the deposit deductions. Our policy is to return deposits in full, minus any deductions for legitimate repairs beyond normal wear and tear. We would like to investigate this matter further. During our purchase we had the pleasure of liaising with Kirsty, Abbi and, more recently, Clare. I cannot express how much Oakwood were the stand-out estate agency in our chain.
