From the first meeting through to completion, working with Oaks Estate Agents has been top class. James and his team went above and beyond. The viewing process was well managed and coordinated around COVID related lockdowns. Getting a buyer was straight forward and well within the timescales estimated. Oaks Estate Agents showed their talent and professional abilities in management and communication concerning severe issues with the person at the bottom of the housing chain working with another estate agent. James and his team did everything they could to encourage communication and arrange, rearrange and cooperate with other estate agents to complete the chain. James and the rest of the Oaks team have been truly phenomenal with my flat sale. From putting on the market, consistent updates on marketing, finding the buyer and keeping everything together right the way up to exchanging contracts, they did everything they said they would do and more. Zoe in particular was phenomenal throughout the process, she listened, cared, gave brutal advice when needed and feel both myself and the buyer were in the best hands possible with her progressing the sale. Hands down the best agent you can use to sell/buy in the area and would thoroughly recommend!

I wanted to put my flat on the market last year and spoke to a few agents , obviously including (James from) Oaks. I warmed to him (despite him being a Palace fan!) and felt his company would be the best fit for me and achieve a well priced sale in the time frame I required. It worked out very well as a "good"sale was achieved and not only that he was able to match me to exactly the kind of property I was looking doe when I was beginning to despair! James and his colleagues (Zoe deserves a mention) were professional and responsive and I would definitely recommend for anyone wanting to sell.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

Having previously been on the market unsuccessfully with a big chain estate agent, we decided to try Oaks as our local agent. So pleased we did and would not hesitate to recommend them - in fact we already have to a couple of friends! James, Daniel, Ciaran and Aaron were all so helpful, positive and proactive throughout the whole process. Communication was key for us after our previous experience with another agent and this is something that Oaks excel at. Oaks were fantastic for the full end to end experience - as both a buyer and a seller. I worked with the Croydon team after spending 5 months with another local competitor who were unresponsive and doing a lot of time wasting viewings. I moved to Oaks and within 2 weeks they had found buyers for my flat after taking great pictures, taking time to learn about the property and always providing me great + honest feedback. They then continued the shine with honesty and professionalism right the way through to collecting my keys as a buyer (another Oaks property) on moving day. We had a brilliant experience with Oaks - we chose them because they were so good when we viewed other properties through them, and are very glad we did. We were under offer within 5 days of going on the market, but that was just a small part of the service Zoe, James and the team offered. They held our hand throughout the process, made great recommendations for surveyor and solicitor, and worked tirelessly to chase the recalcitrant solicitors of our purchaser and vendor. If I could give a 0 star review they would get it. We had by far the worst experience I've ever encountered with estate agents with Oaks estate agents of Streatham. We had agreed to let a 4 bedroom house with them and we were told the day before that the landlord had dropped out of the agreement and we couldn't move in. This left 4 of us homeless with a day's notice....we had even signed a tenancy agreement but apparently this wasn't signed by the landlord!!! Communication was pathetic and they witheld lots of information from us essentially leading us down a path they new was risky with a dodgy landlord without any paperwork. STAY CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY BY ALL MEANS NECESSARY!!!

I am very disappointed at their service. Specifically one of their managers called Alex Oteh at streatham branch Oaks Estates agent. I have rented their property over 1 year, they don't care about what happens to you in the property, when you report any damage , all you hear from them especially Alex is we will sort it out and that's it. Only interested in your rent nothing bothers them anymore. Poor services, poor customer service the staff dont know what they are doing. Wouldn't recommend them to anyone

Absolutely disgusted with this company. They sent me an unsolicited request to market my property, but they were such cheapskates they didn't even put a postage stamp on the envelope. So royal mail asked me to pay the postage £2 to get their unsolicited mail delivered. If I'd have known what the mail was I would have told them to keep it. Note to self don't pay for unpaid postage. Note to Oaks if I want you to market my property I'll contact you myself!
