GoogleI have requested to view about 15 properties yet after over a week they have not even replied to one of them, not even to say if they have been already rented. I sent them an email with my background and what I am looking for, yet they haven’t even bother to reply my email. Apart of sending an email, I sent about 10 request throughout their websites providing all my details to contact me. Awful.

GoogleHi All, I’ve been waiting to leave this review for quite some time but life’s been pretty manic over the las few months. I bought a property last year which should have been a great experience. Unfortunately, due to the incompetence of some of the agents at Oaks, it was unpleasant. Due to my busy working schedule, I wasn’t able to view a property on the same day my partner did. I tried to organise a viewing at a later date but each time was meet with some sort of excuse. Having had an offer accepted it took more than 6 weeks for me to physically see the property. The reasons given we’re that the vendor wasn’t able to accommodate the viewings midweek. This was a complete lie because I asked the vendor at the property. The vendor also mentioned communications we’re extremely poor which was evident to see. This behaviour is unfriendly and lacked professionalism. The we're 2 occasions on the phone when they we're belligerent when I tried to discuss concerns regarding surveys. Food for thought, Commission isn’t everything. For those interested in instructing this agency, think again. Please ensure you’ve built genuine rapport because they will be the representation of your home. All I ask is that you be accountable and get better. Do better Oaks. I understand Oaks will reply with a message to try and make this seem like an isolated situation.

If you purchased a property from us last year and have only seen fit to leave a review now, we must have really upset you so for that reason, I’m sorry. I have no interest in making out that it’s an isolated incident. I do take pride in replying to reviews good and bad but I will however, publicly go on record and say that we have been known to irritate some buyers whose surveys flag up so-called “issues” on properties that have been standing tall and safe for over 100 years. Therefore, any form of renegotiations is always out of the question as far as we are concerned. I make no apology for working in our vendors best interests and will continue to do so. Whilst you have every right to share your experience, it’s worth noting that since we opened up in South Norwood, not one vendor has left a negative review and they are the ones that we work on behalf of and pay our fee. GoogleConal and Daniel at the South Norwood office were so on the ball and were integral to ensuring the sale went through as fast and smoothly as possible. They kept on top of everything and were always reachable for any questions. As a buyer we absolutely were happy dealing with them and would for sure use them if we become the seller in future! GoogleI would highly recommend Oaks Estate Agents for buying a property, in particular Daniel who is based at the Portland Rd office. After having been messed around by previous vendors for over 5months, Daniel knew we were serious buyers & helped us find an alternative property quickly which matched our criteria. We were kept informed throughout the process & I found Daniel very approachable and kept to his word w.r.t to timelines & check-ins which put us at ease after such a bad experience previously. As we had to wait for probate with the vendors Daniel ensured regular communications were maintained between us & the vendors so we knew where we stood and we felt we could trust him to be working in our best interest also. Other colleagues such as Conal who work in the office were also very helpful, so overall we were very happy with the service we received. Thank you Daniel & Team.

The partners they recommended were excellent and Dane went above and beyond - even giving me a lift between viewings and meeting me with keys when I ran late.
