We had a very positive experience selling our house through Oaks in South Norwood. The team was very successful in securing viewings for us and ultimately finding us a buyer quickly. They worked well together and all kept up to speed with the sale. Communication was good and we liked the use of WhatsApp for this. There were a couple of times where obtaining updates on the rest of the chain was a little difficult, but the Oaks team excelled at the point where it really mattered - we had some complications elsewhere in the chain and Dane was incredibly proactive at contacting the other parties to resolve issues and keep things moving. Overall we would recommend Oaks for anyone looking to sell their property.

Thank you to Jonathan and the team for doing a fantastic job at on the sale of my flat recently! Initially Jonathan was more positive, credible and knowledgeable about the immediate sales market that the two competitors that I met. When there were some bumps in the road his level headed advice helped to turn things around and get to a positive solution. Really great quality and professional agents!

I'll be candid and say I generally don't hold estate agents in high regard. James and Pavines @ Oaks Streatham changed my view. They knew exactly the type of buyer who would be interested in our property, got them in quickly and got us a sale we are very happy with. They went above and beyond, pushing every step of the way to get the whole chain across the line, dealt with any quibbles quickly and professionally. If you're thinking of saving half a % on a cheaper agent, don't. These people really know their market, their areas and people. Thanks both!

The reply is incorrect assumption. I found unprofessional two of your agents’ communication skills and when I brought it up that it is unacceptable and I expect to be professional, I did not receive any acknowledge. The agents were keep e-mailing to me on the daily bases and to my solicitors as well asking for an update even after I made them aware the seller’s solicitor is up to date with every information and there is no information what we would not share with the solicitor, but with the estate agent. After the purchase happened I had been informed about the keys incorrectly by one of your agent and I did send him an e-mail asking where is that spare key what he said to me it had been left in the flat. Before the purchase happened I received extreme amount of e-mails from them with ‘ASAP’ answers request, with matters what only the two solicitors are dealing, but for this e-mail I only received an answer days later, after I left the one start review.

I’ve reviewed the file and believe the negative experience stems from our refusal to engage in discussions about reducing the sale price. Whilst we respect both sellers and buyers, our sellers choose us to market their properties for various reasons, one of which is often to achieve the best possible sales price. Great service and very professional. With three other agencies trying to sell a difficult property for me, and the eventual buyer proving difficult also, they managed to keep the deal on track and get the deal over the line. Highly recommended.

Samyul and Monika at Oaks have been absolutely brilliant. I am landlord of a two bed flat in Croydon. The property has been managed by Oaks for over a year now. Good tenants were sourced who pay rent on time and maintain the flat beautifully. Response time from Samyul and Monika is excellent, and any email or query I have is replied to immediately. When recent repairs were needed, Samyul coordinated everything very effectively. Both Samyul and Monika are consistently kind and friendly and a pleasure to do business with. I would not use another estate agent for rental or sale in this area. Highly professional and trustable business.
