Once again Emma Procter and her team in Balham worked wonders at a particularly difficult time of year (November). What impressed me most was the company's ability to network my property details to other offices...( Northcote road) who quickly and efficiently obtained new tenants. It is this attention to detail that has ensured i shall continue to remain a client for a 12th consecutive year.

This agency: Talked up the tenants (on same day alternative offer received from another agent), turns out one of them was brother to Marsh and Parsons employee. Over eight months, this agent never visited the property once, despite alert/evidence that there was an illegal cat and extra tenant present for the entire period. Allowed the flat to be left in a squalid and uncleaned state and still never visited the flat. Misrepresented to the landlord the procedure for recovery of landlord payment for remedial works and obtained grossly over-inflated estimates for work. Refused to repay 5% management fee for the eight months fees (approx. £800) to landlord despite nil management. The landlord is still some £1000 out of pocket for repairs to decoration/cleaning/joinery/lighting and if also include that carpets had to be replaced in entirety because of cat excrement (because the stains could not be removed by cleaning) then the landlord is out of pocket £4000.

I've used Marsh & Parsons letting Service twice in the last two months and found it extremely efficient, fast, and helpful. Emma Proctor arranged new tenants for both properties in record time, and secured tenancy agreements that we were all very happy with. We have used Marsh and Parsons Battersea to let our flat twice in the past few years. Even when we've had two agencies on the job, they've never failed to deliver and beat their competition and deliver quality tenants. Emma, their lettings manager, provides a high level of feedback and dialogue throughout the process. My wife and I live some distance from the flat and the additional support Emma has provided has been hugely appreciated.

We have been disappointed with almost every aspect of our experience letting our property with Marsh and Parsons. From feeling pressurised into accepting the first offer received, to terrible management and disorganised accounting, all for a whopping 18% fee plus up front costs - we would not recommend this agent. Find a smaller agent who will care about its clients!

I have been renting out my house with M&P for a few years now. They are phantastic, lovely people, very efficient, especially the Northcote Road branch. Not too pushy, but always found tenants straight away when I needed them. I would recommend a let only though, as my experiences with their central management department were not as great. But overall a really good agency I can wholeheartedly recommend.

I have used Marsh & Parsons for nearly ten years to let my flat in Battersea. The service is always good and I have not had one day vacant in all that time. This was my first time both as a landlord and also dealing with Marsh and Parsons and have found it all to be a great experience. I was kept fully informed and updated during the whole process and all issues were dealt with immediately. The staff also have all been a total pleasure to deal with First time landlord can be an unnerving experience but this has been completely smooth and Id be very happy to use Marsh and Parsons again in the future

My experience with Marsh and Parsons recently has improved I have found a good support in particular by Emma and Daniel. They have gone the extra mile to meet my expectations and I am sure they will continue in this way. If I have to be picky I would just say, having been such a loyal customer to M&P at this stage I would expect some advantages from the M&P corporate side. Apart form this I am happy.

As a landlord, when a current tenant chooses to leave its a stressful time. The team at Marsh and Parsons (Northcote road) have been wonderful in handling the process. Finding new tenants, formally checking them out and having the papers signed within a week. They are thorough in their offering, with a menu approach of what you can choose they do, and what you (as landlord) agree to cover yourself. A friendly team, they are swift to respond to calls and emails, and willing to go beyond their remit in offering guidance throughout the process.

View AgentsFinding a tenant and the support through the process
We had had very good service from the sales teams of Marsh and Parsons in Fulham and Battersea but unfortunately didn't end up buying through them in the end. After we completed on our property purchase, we were keen to be introduced to their Letting department and they have not let us down. Emma Proctor has been nothing but professional and so helpful. This has been particularly valuable and important for us as we do not live locally to the property. When Emma was away on leave I was looked after by Nicola and the team and they again were excellent. Tenants for the property were found swiftly are were in, three weeks after we had completed the purchase. We have only recently been introduced to our Property Manager, Daniel, but he is proving to be very polite, professional, helpful and thorough also. Finally - our whole experience of the Marsh and Parsons staff is that they are sincere and respectful as well as professional - with a lovely sense of humour to go with it. They feel a cohesive team.
