GoogleI had a great experience finding a place to live this year as I had the opportunity to be assisted by Jade at Loc8me. I needed it last minute and contacted Loc8me with urgency and Jade was able to get me a new lovely place to stay on the very same day! I had various limitations pop up but she was quick to resolve each of them in order to help me get this new place I really like. She was quick, professional and fun to communicate with during the whole process.That’s my lovely encounter with Loc8me so far, which justifies the 5 stars 😊

GoogleHad issues with wifi in first half of the year, but once eventually sorted everything was fine. Property manager, Craig, was always quick to respond via the house groupchat about any issues we had, good service overall

GoogleA terrible letting agency which has shown no regard to student welfare, repairs have taken months at times to be carried out. Any correspondence that does not involve rental payments are usually ignored. Fire alarms within the property have also not been working which raises some ethical questions into the companies practice.

GoogleI currently rent a student house from Loc8 me with Craig as a property manager, all issues are sorted out really quickly and he's very helpful and friendly. 10/10 love Craig and have signed on with Loc8 me for a second year just so I don't lose him.

Google*PLEASE READ* I've lived in Loughborough for 4 years and, as well as many of my friends, rented from Loc8me for 1 year. They have been the worst letting agent I have heard of or come into contact with by a distance and here's why: 1) Maintenance The service can be incredibly slow. Despite it being in the contract to handle issues with the properties, it may well take weeks to repair your white goods. We fortunately never had a broken boiler, but from the speed it took to fix a fridge I think it would have been a very cold winter. 2) House quality This is an agency that does not understand that natural wear and tear happens, and so when they spend £100 on putting in a kitchen, they do not seem to take any responsibility when it starts to fall apart. This comes down to not being honest with the quality of workmanship they put into a renovation. 3) It's not over at the end of the tenancy Loc8me and their agents are very difficult to reason with, partly due to lack of replies, and partly because the replies you do get are unreasonable and unexplained. 2 of my friend's houses were told that, not only were they not getting their deposit back, but they owed Loc8me over a thousand pounds of damages. One of the houses had taken picture of the property before, showing that the condition was identical to before and so Loc8me had no ground to theaten the tennants with such a fine. The other house unfortunately are still trying to get replies and answers from the company, I will encourage them to also leave reviews to keep you updated with how that goes... If Loc8me read this, I sincerely hope that they sort out their handling of tenants and unreasonable landlords at the end of tenancies if they wish to stay in the Loughborough student letting market.

GoogleI did not have a good experience with this company. During the covid-19 outbreak they have failed to give me any support. I understand it is rough patch for everyone, but considering I am a student there was NO discount or regard to my situation. Of course, I have had to come back home for self isolation, so the house is empty. Furthermore, there were some maintenance issues which took very long to be sorted out or sometimes even ignored. At one point my baby mother had to call the electrician.

GoogleSuper friendly and helpful team. Our property manager Sophie is always quick to reply, and has made my two years with loc8me very pleasant. I have also enjoyed the perks that come with living with loc8me such as all the freebies, (Pizza, Wine, Douhgnuts, Vouchers etc), in addition to the social aspet of pre-parties and tickets to music events.

GoogleLoc8me have always been great throughout my time at university. I've only ever heard good things from my friends too. The way the office is set up is fantastic, split up with property managers and letting agents. From my first experience with them until now it has been smooth sailing and everyone has been so so helpful with everything from signing the contract to dealing with maintenance issues that can arise in any house. I would recommend loc8me to anybody in Loughborough looking for accommodation, either student or locals. The best agency by far and would give them more than 5 stars if i could.

GoogleDid not have a good experience with this company. We had multiple issues with the house such as no heating and no hot water as well as problems with electrical supplies. When reported it took a long time for them to be resolved. We were also charged for the heating to be fixed and when we asked why there was no justification. Our deposits have been taken and when questioned about it they have not responded. They are charging us for repairs on the house that we’re not cause because of us but instead due to the fact the construction on the house was rushed. Don’t live with locate me.

GoogleDREADFUL, AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Had a terrible year renting with loc8me, would give 0 stars if i could. The following are some of the main issues we encountered (there was not enough space to list them all)... Staff were rude, repairs took forever, they gave workmen a key and told them they could let themselves into our hours even though we stressed numerous times that we did not give consent for this to happen. Had one member of staff illegally enter the property in order to try and argue with one of my house mates. Additionally, they tried to blackmail us threatening to email our guarantors regarding drugs in the property (none were ever seen/found) when we refused to pay for scrapes on a toilet cistern lid that we had not caused. Then at the end of the tenancy they tried to keep the £750 deposit and bill us an additional £500, when we asked for invoices and receipts they suddenly removed over £500 for various 'admin errors' on their side. Been an absolute joke of a year, i have not enjoyed my time with loc8me, i will not be renting with them again and i strongly recommend others to look elsewhere. Additionally, several of their 5 star reviews on google are written by their own staff (highly illegal). For example, here are some written by Siobhan Stretton (see photos attached) claiming that she is a student apparently renting at four different loc8me locations across the country at one time, when she in fact she actually works there (see final image, a screenshot from their website)

GoogleFab experience living with loc8 me, any problems were dealt with efficiently, quickly and to the best of standards. And the price was so cheap! If I didn't have a family home now I'd still be renting through them!

GoogleI had a great experience from start to finish with loc8me. Sophie was extremely helpful, I had never rented before and she took the time to explain the process and made sure I was happy and comfortable with everything. Sophie was very professional, but her bright personality made me feel like I was talking to a friend. Would definitely recommend.
