Avoid at all costs.I have been a guarantor for all my children at universities cities across the country, including Durham. These people want a ridiculous level of personal information from you. For example, they want copies of the title deeds for your property.Yet at the same time they provide no evidence for anything they say they do.They claim that they use MyDeposit to keep deposits safe, yet provide no contract or certificate to prove that.They say that they keep all the very personal data you have supplied secure, yet provide no evidence or explanation of how that is executed.They are difficult to get hold of, the phone number is never answered, and to top it all they use 'jokey' unprofessional email addresses like 'hello at loc8me".Looking through the very long list of 1 star reviews you can see how little they are concerned about customer complaints. In many responses to complaints the wording is just copied from the previous entry. Sadly I am stuck with them, but hopefully this review will save you from being stuck with them to.

She was also quick with messaging us back and booking a viewing when we liked a property. Even though we didn’t go forward with the flat, we still had a great experience and would definitely work with her again in the future!

The booking system does not work they let you go through with a booking that is not available and don’t send you any confirmation. The properties look dirty and unclean.I called them to book a viewing and the lady on the phone said she would send me a confirmation but i didn’t receive anything so i called them the next day and was told there was no booking in my name. On the phone they sound unsure and like someone is there telling them what to say.I had a viewing booked and 5 minutes before the scheduled time as I was on my way there they called me and cancelled she said were in front of the property in bath and couldn’t gain access but the call said it was coming from Loughborough. They said they couldn’t meet me and discuss a rearrangement even though i was 5 minutes away and they were supposedly in front of the property.VERY DODGEY AND UNPROFESSIONAL WHY WOULDNT YOU HAVE SOMEONE BASED WHERE YOU HAVE PROPERTIES.

I can not express my deepest regrets upon signing up as a guarantor for a friend's with loc8me. The process for getting the room went smoothly without a doubt but the biggest disappointment was when my from picked the keys and got to the apartment. The entrance key given didn't work, he had to call three times for the correct key to be sent which took 40 minutes. Once entering room it was a shock. The room that initially was shown to him and he like, was the same room code that was given to him. They have allocated a different room for him amd the room hasn't been cleaned. Stains on the tables and dirt was everywhere. The bed in the room is very old and the mattress definitely needs changing. It wasn't to a British standard mattress to sleep on. The walls of the room is dirty, inside of drawers was a massive eye sight. Even the guy from the agency commented that all these things wasn't there when their view together and I wasn't the same room. He was Stan. Did advised for pictures to be taken and sent to the agent . Why the room swap, only God knows. The Kitchen didn't look like it's been cleaned for weeks but when we view it was nice but all changed om moving in date. My friend couldn't spend his first night there, he had to rebook the Air B & B back to go back and spend the night there. I was a big disappointment. I am shocked and I am going to complain to the agent to findout why they gave a different room and the room door even couldn't lock. Everything was just bad to the highest degree.

At that time, they were shown Room 6, which was the only available room at the property. We confirmed that the property was to be rented "as is," due to the agreement being a DOA.An inventory was also completed by our agent, Jashmin, and she ensured that the room was clean at that time, with only minor dust on the desk, which was promptly cleaned.Regarding the initial key issue, we apologise for the inconvenience. While the key handed over did not work, we immediately rectified this, and the tenant confirmed they were satisfied with the solution.We are actively working to address the ongoing concerns about the kitchen's cleanliness. Given that this property is a room-by-room arrangement, we are reminding all tenants of their responsibility to keep common areas tidy and are implementing regular checks to maintain a higher standard of cleanliness.We are happy to discuss this further with you by emailing hello@loc8me.co.uk.
