GoogleJust sold my 2 bed flat through John Hilton and highly recommend them if you are considering an agent. The contract was plain and simply written and the fee was fair and reasonable. The constant following up by Alex to help push the sale along was good to see. Highly recommended!

GoogleI hate estate agents as a rule but I have to say John Hilton have been the best. Alex Wilson was the greatest support throughout the who long winded tortuous experience, offering support, knowlege and encouragement the whole way through. My onward chain broke down 4 times but still he persevered going over and beyond in my opinion. I could of given up without him. But we exchanged today after 8 months from the original offer and I am soooo happy!!!!! I can not recommend John Hilton enough and Alex in particular.

GoogleWhat a pleasure! We had to sell our mum's property for her to go in a care home. The experience could have been horrendous. Luckily we had Alex to help us though the whole thing. He couldn't have been more helpful. He, and the estate agent team, informed us of viewing times and who was attending. We also got responses on the outcome of the viewings. Alex kept us up to date with everything that was happening. Thank you.

Google36 Springfield road - seller isn’t serious put in for asking was accepted after legal searches and stating they wanted a quick sale being pushed by estate agents to use their recommended solicitors seller pulled out no reason given lost a load of money. Been told today seller hasn’t responded to estate agents as to why. Was told by a woman there that they weren’t aware of this to then be called back up and told they were aware 3days ago didn’t bother telling us as buyers. Cost us a lot by them not bothering to communicate with us.

GoogleI dealt with the Rottingdean office for the sale of my 2-bedroom flat which has now exchanged. The staff in this office are easy to deal with, return calls, and follow up emails. In a difficult market, it took a few months to find a good quality buyer at an acceptable price, but Alex secured the sale and kept me up to date along the way. I dealt with Alex throughout, which provides the continuity that I value. I would happily recommend.

GoogleDo not associate yourself with this business. Staff are lazy, Ive never seen estate agents take a whole month for annual leave… IN DECEMBER!! They only respond to you if you badger them constantly, they don’t want to lose any money so they will charge you for the silliest things. Dont expect your deposit back because they will find anything to keep it. Only time they will respond is if the rent is due and then magically they care about their job again. All these other 5star reviews are fake, check their profiles. John Hilton DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOU. Money hungry agents turning up to viewings with designer yet when the house is leaking and the house isnt heating up, they will ignore you. Worst type of people on this Earth, only caring about their Ibiza trips every month because they are never in office. Do not go with this estate agent trust me. Theres dozens of other estate agents on Combe Road, go to any other one but John Hilton. Funniest thing is, the agent in charge of our house is actually out of office FOR A WHOLE MONTH again. In June. The absolute liberties.

GoogleWe recently sold our property through John Hilton’s in Rottingdean and can’t praise the team highly enough. The sale from start to finish was predominantly managed by Alex Wilson, with the support of the wider team. Our ongoing purchase was complex, with a relocation to the South West included. Alex took a lot of the strain away the situation, managing expectations and resolution of issues with our sale, allowing us to focus on our purchase, new schools, etc. You sense there is in-depth experience and knowledge, which naturally brings trust in their guidance throughout the journey. I’ve sold properties in the past where once a buyer is identified the agent sits back and it’s down to the seller and solicitor to get it across the line. Alex however was in constant communication with all parties and applied the right amount of pressure when required to ensure not only the chain completed, but also kept all involved informed, which in turn reduced stress. To summarise, a highly professional outfit, made up of a team of warm, calm and skilled individuals who seriously know their stuff.

GoogleI was recommended to John Hilton by a friend when I was lamenting the quality of other agents I'd met to sell my home. I'm so glad I was, as I met Tom Coffey who from day one was a pleasure to work with. Tom is thorough, knowledgeable and friendly. He gave great advice, was quick to reply/update at every stage and easy to talk to. The house was sold quickly at a good price with everything panning out as we'd discussed (give or take a few teeny things that seem to always happen). Tom also showed me a few properties to buy and his depth of knowledge for each property was impressive, plus he knew what I'd like and not like! The whole team at John Hiltons are fab, all very helpful and know what's going on at all times. I can highly recommend them for both buying and selling a property! with an equally impressive team around him. Everything from the valuation, photos, text and of course viewings was easy and quick.
