Simon Cox was so helpful when there were all sorts of difficulties occurred - the sort that can arise when selling and buying a home. Simon was nothing other than professional and helpful, and especially when there were some urgent things that needed doing or chasing up. We know where to go when we might move on in the future.

I hate estate agents as a rule but I have to say John Hilton have been the best. Alex Wilson was the greatest support throughout the who long winded tortuous experience, offering support, knowlege and encouragement the whole way through. My onward chain broke down 4 times but still he persevered going over and beyond in my opinion. I could of given up without him. But we exchanged today after 8 months from the original offer and I am soooo happy!!!!! I can not recommend John Hilton enough and Alex in particular.

My experience with the people of John Hilton in Rottingdean has only been a positive one. Alex Wilson was especially helpful and very supportive when things didn’t go as planned. He kept us informed at every opportunity and even on his days off. Once, he even contacted me when he was on holiday. He, and his colleagues have had a very hard job with our property chain, twice it looked like it had fallen apart but they persevered and we got there in the end. I don’t normally have many good things to say about estate agents, but this group has surpassed my expectations. Thank you all for your hard work and your patience with this chain. I totally recommend these guys.

In a difficult market, it took a few months to find a good quality buyer at an acceptable price, but Alex secured the sale and kept me up to date along the way. We went with John Hilton for both our sale and purchase and everything has been great from start to finish. Our contact was Simon throughout the process. For our sale, the photo shoot for the website was arranged within 2 days, and the listing was live before we knew it. We were lucky, the first viewer became our buyer, so the whole process took about 8 weeks to complete. Simon was in constant communication with all parties and never lost his cool even when things got a bit complicated. He made sure we all made it to completion before being hit by stamp duty increase. The most thoughtful and sensitive estate agents I have ever had the pleasure to work with! John Hilton took on my mother’s house to sell after her passing away and every step they were kind patient and thoughtful.
