From start to finish James was excellent. He knew answers to questions at viewing stage unlike many other agents. My move experienced every hurdle you can imagine but James professionally navigated it through, making all the essential communications and taking the time to explain processes to me so I better understood the issues being faced.

I had a very negative experience with this branch of Jefferies & Dibbens. I had already booked a viewing with them for Friday at 3pm. That morning, I phoned to ask if it might be possible to view the property earlier. Instead of helping with my request, the person I spoke to, who introduced himself as “Adam”, immediately started questioning me about my mortgage. I was honestly gobsmacked. I didn’t explain anything further because I don’t believe I should have to justify myself when I had a confirmed viewing already booked, and certainly not in such an abrupt and rude manner. What makes this even more absurd is that only two weeks ago I put in an offer with the very same company, at a different branch, and there was no issue whatsoever. And earlier this year, when I put in another offer, Jefferies & Dibbens even contacted my broker directly and confirmed everything. I have never had a problem with my mortgage position, and yet on this call I was treated as though I wasn’t eligible to buy at all. The way “Adam” handled the call made me feel as if he had already decided I couldn’t afford the property, which was insulting and baseless. The flat I wanted to view was £169,000, my previous mortgage in principle was far higher than this. When I asked to speak to a manager, “Adam” claimed he was the manager, refused to give me his surname, and flatly refused to let me view the property. Instead of being treated as a genuine buyer, I was spoken to rudely, interrogated unnecessarily, and denied a viewing that had already been arranged. Jefferies & Dibbens have lost a serious, motivated buyer because of this behaviour. This was by far the worst experience I’ve had with an estate agent, and I would strongly caution others about dealing with this branch.

Recently sold my house with Jeffries, great service especially Holly who went above and beyond. She was so helpful from start to finish nothing was too much trouble for her. She always replied promptly and kept me updated on everything. She kept me sane through everything that cropped up. She deserves a medal. Holly you were amazing !!!

After my Father passed away we needed a reputable, reliable local Estate Agent to assist with the sale of his property. We lived many miles away so it was imperative that we engaged with a firm we could trust. From the moment we met William Whiting we were convinced that Jeffries Dibbens, a family firm, were the right choice. Throughout the sale process the communication channels between ourselves and the firm were 1st class. Despite a number of obstacles along the way, Olivia (Sales Progressor) was always 100% committed to establishing the then current position, which enabled us to manage the situation from a sellers perspective. We were delighted with the service we received and would recommend the firm to anyone who was seeking Estate Agency locally.

Jeffries and Dibbens were amazing in helping us find a property and communicating between our chain, wanted to also mention Olivia in particular who was so lovely and was always at the end of the telephone to help us with any queries and getting updates for us throughout the process when even we couldn’t get any!
