I recently commissioned James Anderson to sell my house in Barnes. Despite entering the market at the height of summer (low point for the property market), they were amazing at scheduling viewings and then advising us during the offer stage. I would highly recommend them as they are tenacious, know the area well and are very personable .They got me a sale within a couple of months. Thanks so much Michael!

I sold my house in Barnes in a difficult market. Michael Britt not only persisted to find a buyer and manage the process but he and Sarah Douglas were also extremely good at managing my expectations, advising me and guiding a fairly tricky sale to completion. I cannot rate them more highly. They are professional but personable and know their market extremely well. I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone wishing to buy or sell in Barnes and would use them again without a second thought should the need arise.

We can’t speak highly enough of the Putney James Anderson team. Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and all went the extra mile for us to help us sell our Putney home. Jack gave his honest opinions about the market, a realistic pricing appraisal (we checked in with two other agents to benchmark and he was spot on), and the team were flexible and supportive in helping us have viewings and find our buyer. Our fifth viewing offered at the price we wanted. Once we’d accepted the offer Jack and Nick guided us through a more-complex-than-first-seemed chain. They actively followed up (chased!) other agents etc to ensure the deal did complete, despite the unexpected complications that popped up by others in the chain. The whole team were decent folk and we recommend them to all.

Why we chose James Anderson -People: Jack Gardiner and Sarah Douglas were my main points of contact for selling my property. They seemed professional, dedicated and kept the conversation on my level. -Pricing: They were competitive in comparison to the 3 other estate agents based in Barnes. What was good about James Anderson during the sales process -Honesty and transparency: Plain speaking, no non-sense advice with regards to potential buyers, provided realistic timelines and accommodated my requirements when it came to communicating with the buyer. -Dedicated: A lot of time and effort went on behind the scenes to sell my property. Whilst the transaction itself is relatively painless, a lot of coordination is required between solicitors, the buyer and the seller. James Anderson played an important role in making this process as fast as possible. Where James Anderson could improve -Communication: The time taken to sell my property was probably longer than average for Barnes.. More proactive status updates would have been appreciated as I had to call and email the office, leaving messages as agents were often dealing with other customers.. Using mobile phones with email connectivity would allow more timely communication (less delay) for urgent queries.
