GoogleWe have recently had to sell our former family home on behalf of our parents. Tom from the Abington branch of Jackson Grundy managed the whole process with sensitivity whilst being extremely efficient which rendered the whole process the best it could possibly be. He was managing the sale and purchase of the chain of 4 properties but from our point of view made it all happen seamlessly whilst working incredibly hard behind the scenes. Tom’s expert knowledge of the local area meant he was able to give us sensible and measured advice without being pushy. His communication was excellent providing a means of direct communication with the buyers which worked really well. We would highly recommend Jackson Grundy as estate agents and in particular Abington Branch manager Tom.

A lady named Becky was my point of contact and she went above and beyond throughout the process, was always happy to take my calls, answer any questions I had and was especially helpful with chasing and dealing with problematic solicitors! GoogleOur experience with Jackson Grundy has been excellent at every point. We first listed our house with Strike as we had found a house we liked listed with them and we felt ours should be easy to sell. Strike were generally awful - they overvalued our house despite concerns we expressed, gave rude service and we therefore got no viewings. We contacted Jackson Grundy for help. Chris came out very quickly to value our house, explained everything well, wasn’t at all pushy and gave us a value which we expected and were happy with, lower than the previous one by Strike. Photos were excellent, the commission was also reasonable and we went on sale with them quickly, removing our listing with Strike. We had several viewings scheduled within the first week with Chris and Becky showing and ended up with 3 offers, 2 of which came up to asking price. We sold in 10 days from listing. Even after accepting the offer, Becky went above and beyond to move things along for us and was an integral part of our exchange and completion particularly in the last few critical days. We cannot thank Becky enough for working hard to push the sale through and also keeping us in touch with the buyers after the sale. I highly recommend Jackson Grundy. For a reasonable commission they gave us a brilliant service that I cannot fault one bit. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again. The free online agents really do not compare. Jackson Grundy agents know their area so well, you can really trust their opinion and advice. Thanks Becky and Chris!

GoogleHad a wonderful experience when viewing the home but have had issues since moving in, such as lack of communication and swiftness for resolving issues/request. This has disappointed us as we have read great reviews about Tanya but I am still yet to receive an appointment for fixing the property, following the instigation in October and waiting on an answer from a request, made a month ago - of which I have had to chase due to no updates from the agency, even after Tanya gave us initial reassurance. If this could be resolved easier on the phone please give me a call as you will have my personal details.
We are sorry to hear that you have been disappointed by aspects of our service. I have been in contact with Tanya and she assures me she has been doing all she can to assist you, however often certain decisions in relation to a property are at the landlord's discretion and outside of our influence....but I certainly apologise if you feel that communication has not been up to scratch. GoogleAs tenants of a JG rental property, I can definitely say that we've been treated with care, support and kindness over the 4 years we've rented with them. Whenever an issue arose with the property, the team at JG were quick and professional to deal with, and would always go the extra mile to ensure we were taken care of, and our needs were met (eg scheduling visits around meetings, being flexible with timings, ensuring we had the right person for the job etc).
