This is my life’s 1st house and the seller didn’t give it cleaned. when i tell agent they told me its not our job. But if you got the keys from seller you should check the property been cleaned or not. And The buyer will facing any problems after giving keys or not. But now no response said I’m on holiday and reply ‘cleaning is not our job’. I have to book a professional cleaner for that and charged 200£ for full deep cleaning the house. Also when i have been informed for keys they didn’t give it on house address. just call me and say take it from office. Why bcs its not a big house and big deal for them. They just got their comission and that’s it. Next time Never buy any property from them. Not getting any respond yet. Very very disappointed.

Had two viewings scheduled for today (Thursday) at 17:30 and 18:00 which were booked in on Tuesday. Me and my partner turned up early since we were coming from London and didn’t want to hit any traffic. 17:30 comes along and there’s no sign of any estate agent, I texted his number and called twice with no response. I called the office and they can’t get a hold of him so was told he was likely driving. I then get a call from the office a few minutes later to then be told the estate agent that was due to show us the properties is not in today. Extremely unprofessional behaviour, very frustrating for me and my partner as it has been a waste of our time! Will be avoiding foxtons for the foreseeable future as this is the second time we have had an issue with foxtons (albeit a different branch previously) very disappointing for such a well known company!!

Unprofessional Behaviour

The keys were given to the buyers without our consent, even though we had instructed them to hold off until the full set of keys was received. Glenn, the area director, released the keys, and Jamie, the Watford branch manager, shifted the blame onto the solicitors and us for their unprofessional actions. If the area director and branch manager act this way, what can we expect from the rest of the team?

I first met Amir when he came to give me a free valuation for my own home in July 2024 which was a pleasant and straightforward experience. After that, I was in the unfortunate position where I had to sell my mother's home after her passing. I then worked with Jamie who gave me an excellent fixed price to sell the property. I then worked with Rory to secure a sale several weeks later with a pre-verified first time buyer. Katie, from sales progression then worked with me and my solicitor right through to exchange and completion. She was terrific and kept in touch throughout the process, despite a very challenging buyer's solicitor. I trust the company and the employees and felt they had my best interests at heart throughout.

I was looking for a rental property in the Hemel Hempstead area of Hertfordshire and found that a lot of the estate agents that I dealt with were not very efficient in finding me what I wanted and were literally making me decide to buy a property instead of renting one. However one person was very helpful and knew all the relevant information on the property we were viewing and was extremely helpful in trying to find us somewhere within our price range. I am 73 years old and disabled and this lovely person was very patient with me too. Her name was Ellie and she worked from the Hemel Hempstead branch of Imagine Estate Agents. Shocking lack of knowledge

Service was shocking, didn't now what they were doing, lost a sale by giving buyer wrong information, then was told couldn't sell our property until tlite was spilt which is utter rubbish, wasn't informed when cancelled viewings, wished I had listened to friends when told don't use them.

Paul Markey let the team down

Paul Markey unfortunately let the team down. I’m presuming he’s just started his career so his inexperience has resulted in some poorly judged, unprofessional behaviour. Real shame as we initially liked Paul and mentioned giving them more business in the future yet definitely one to avoid now sadly. Context - We decided to proceed with another property that was on sale with a different estate agent instead of Paul’s property. He wasn’t happy… “Thank you for wasting my time and also now having to have a very awkward conversation with my owner…. Lets hope for your sake you don’t get messed around like we have but if there is such a thing as property karma it may well happen. Think we can end this here” No commission on this one I’m afraid 😉

PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS ESTATE AGENT! Imagine bushey were the estate agents I had to use to purchase my property. From the very beginning, things did not go to plan. I found Kelly (head of new homes at imagine Bushey) to be extremely difficult to work with. Recommending a horrible law firm (which I felt fourced to use, as when I explained that I would like to shop around, she became hostile, and did not want to work with anyone else, exclaiming to me that "in this industry you get what you pay for"). Unfortunately, I found her genuinely unhelpful, and I ended up speaking to Jamie at Imagine for all of my enquiries. Who unfortunately was as unprofessional as her, making numerous spelling mistakes forgetting to respond and again being generally unhelpful. I eventually did meet both of these people when I (eventually after over 6 months) exchanged on my property. They had very little to say, and they wanted me to just sign the documents. When I pointed out the issues with the property, most importantly, that it hadn't even been cleaned (there was thick dust and paint on all of the surfaces and piles of dirt in all of the corners). Again, they had nothing to say, other then please sign here, and we had "the girls" clean the apartment before you arrived. After my purchase, there has been no after care, no contact at all. I would highly recommend against using imagine Bushey!
