GoogleJust called for a friend, asked how many rentals they had available, before I was even asked a question I was told we don’t have any properties, my response was on your website it claims you have 13 properties, he said on right move, I said no on your page, his response, yeah well we are in the process of removing them all, we only do sales here, when I asked where the rental office is, this is the same office we just don’t have anything. So I asked if he is aware of any agency’s in the area, his response was go online or have a look around, I have done both, I’ve found to let signs in the area, I’ve found your name on them, wasn’t interested, clearly made some assumptions and decided they couldn’t help (didn’t ask me 1 question about my friend) . So my friend works, she is an NHS nurse, she has 2 children and is a widow, I guess she doesn’t meet their criteria.
Hi Samantha, Thank you for your comments. However, we would like to clarify that we are a small letting agent and currently don't have anything available on our books as indicated. The properties you are referring to have all been let and should identify that on our website. Unfortunately there are sub websites that obtain information without our authority and you are not the first person to enquire about properties that have been let sometime ago. If you would like us to keep your details on record for any upcoming rentals, please do contact us and we'll be happy to register your friend. Generally speaking, as soon as a property is available, it is let straight away.

GooglePurchase fell though 7 months on with sellers dragging their feet. Contracts were issued on month 5. The agent kept dragging the purchase out despite promising the outset their clients were serious and committed. In the end, the sale fell through as our buyer pulled out, not helped by the 7 months of doing nothing.

GoogleOver 2022, I contacted them to arrange viewings for a handful of properties in the local area. I enquired about doing viewings and they said they'll let me know. But they never contacted me back, and then when I chase a few days later; the properties already had viewings. When this happened 3 times in 2 weeks, I decided to give up trying. I know the market moves quick in the M25, but if they gave me a call; I could have easily attended the viewings at any time. There was often a bit of pompousness to their tone, which me wonder if my estuary accent was putting me lower on their agenda. They also don't update their portals, so their properties still appear as available for days after STC, wasting your time enquiring about such properties.

Having been involved in an incredibly long and frustrating chain, Ian was the sole calming, professional and efficient agent that supported us through the process. GoogleI have used Hubbard Torlot on the last two occasions I have moved house. I can’t rate them highly enough they have been so friendly, helpful and efficient that I would have no hesitation in recommending them. My most recent move was very prolonged and stressful yet Ian especially worked so hard to make sure everything went through OK. I don’t think many agents would have gone to such lengths on their clients behalf.

Ian was amazing and always responded to queries, emails and telephone calls with great efficiency and cheer. The team (especially Ian and Marcus) felt like friends (instead of estate agents) by the end of the process. Both Elaine and Ian were very responsive to any questions we had, they stayed on top of both the sellers and ourselves to make sure we were on track to complete within the time frames agreed from the initial offer.
