GoogleChoosing a provider to value, market, show and ultimately sell your home is simple. The range of options, offerings and costs especially given the number of internet providers springing up is vast. However, choosing the right one is a little harder. We were recommended David Clarke at Howkins and Harrison and I now know why and am very comfortable recommending them in turn. The service went way beyond my expectations and I am a demanding client. The true test of a really good agent is stepping in and managing on your behalf with your instructions when things start to go wrong and get difficult - which they inevitably do with what is often a fraught and emotional transaction. Thank you to David and the Team - seriously impressed with you all.

GoogleI decided to use howkins and Harrison after seeing them sell a few properties in my area over the years and more recently 2 further properties, 1 was sold within a week and the other sold same day. David Clarke came and done my valuation, first impressions very personable, confident and enthusiastic, other agents I’d had to value my property were less confident and not enthusiastic at all. I had no doubt from that first meeting that david could sell my property quickly and in less than 2 weeks it was sold! throughout the buying process due to circumstances out of their control and also ours we encounter some difficulties within the chain however David and his team stepped in to help get the deal completed within days, I feel if I had gone with another agent the chain would have fallen apart. They went above and beyond, I can’t thank them enough for all there help and support.

From our initial appraisal with Andrew, including frank, detailed advice and with prompt follow up, nothing has been too much trouble for the Ashby de la Zouch team. Emily and Jackie have been fantastic keeping the viewings going and us appraised through to completion. The team are the ones to choose if buying or selling in Ashby.

We have recently left a rented property with the rugby branch The fact that it is now 18 days after we've moved out and still have not gotten back our security deposit is ridiculous We've tried calling up and all they keep telling us is they'd look into it and get back to us but we'd never get a follow up ! Very unprofessional would not recommend renting from them especially after we left the property cleaner than when we arrived
Sorry that you were dissatisfied with the service. There are often processes that have to be followed that can take some time- especially when a deposit return is needed in a different way to which it was received- as I understand is the situation here. I have spoken with the team and they did all that they could to assist you and keep you up to date with the situation so I am very sorry that you feel that our service deserved a 1* review. I started renting a property 4 years ago with Howkins and Harrison, since being in the property we have completely re done the garden re decorated everywhere and re carpeted, recently we have had to move out the property due to a change in circumstance, we deep cleaned the house and carpets due to us being allowed to keep dogs. New tenants have been in the property for a week and complained about dog hair to which images have been sent with minimal dog hairs showing I am now being told out of an £800 deposit I was originally getting back only £195 and there will be more reductions due to the new tenants wanting the carpets re done! Absolutely appalled at this treatment we have improved the property and left it in a fit and clean condition and now being told a week after someone else had had the keys and moved in that I am still going to be charged for there mess! NOT HAPPY!!

Have recently sold my house through the Ashby De La Zouch residential sales branch. They were absolutely amazing from the initial valuation through to completion. From the day my house went online to the day I moved out was 7 weeks. Have to mention Jackie in particular as she was wonderful to deal with. It was never a bother when I asked questions and she was always friendly and professional, she is a real asset.

GoogleI’ve owned a rental property in Daventry for more than a decade, while living in the North of England. Hawkin’s & Harrison have always managed it competently and professionally. They couldn’t have made it easier to maintain the place from afar; always on top of anything that required doing, whilst keeping me well informed and seeking permission when necessary. Their management fee is very reasonable and they’ve been consistently responsive and helpful. When it came to selling, it was never in doubt that they should handle the transaction and I’m equally grateful to the sales team - they secured a sale before we’d even finalised the brochure and their tenacity in making sure that everything kept ticking through was so much needed. Working full time, I wasn’t able to keep chasing the various parties, but H&H did it for me, which I really appreciated. Flawless services from both rental and sales team - highly recommended.
