House sale through Howkins & Harrison

We sold our house earlier this month with Howkins & Harrison and all of the team were friendly, helpful and professional. Julie initially came to value the property, with Clair taking over communication once the house was on the market. Claire was brilliant, one step ahead of everyone in the process. Although it took nearly a year through to completion, with many hiccups along the way Clair was giving us regular updates ensuring we were fully informed at every point. We achieved the best outcome in a difficult market, supported by great marketing. The level of professionalism and communication I have received has been second to none. I would highly recommend H&H without hesitation. Thank you Clair.

I have been with Howkins & Harrison for over 6 years and I feel I made friendships with the people there due to the relationship we developed and the constant professionalism. Over the years I worked closely with Lisa Swinnerton, the Arthestone Lettings Manager. I have never seen anyone have so much patience and faith in me and been so helpful in the moving and settling in process. I left and returned to H&H and was welcomed again with great warmth by Lisa and her team.

Massive thank you to all the residential sales staff at the Rugby H&H branch. They smoothly guided me through the sales process from start to finish, and managed the (unconventional) buyer, defending our position when required. Julie was always swift to reply to communications and gave helpful practical advice when requested. Everyone was polite and professional. Smart, polished, charming without being too smooth for comfort. I would have liked the staff to answer the phone with their name, not just "H&H". I had to ask / guess who I was talking to when I rang in - Julie / Claire / Jayne / etc.

They found lots of potential buyers and got them into the property quickly. Me and the wife had 3 days until completion of sale (out the blue) we were panicking about finding a home to rent and as soon as we contacted Sarah and the team they had us in a beautiful home in 4 days! Lisa made my move in very easy

Lisa (Swinnerton) made the experience of moving to my lovely temporary home, very seamless and easy. Arranging a rental was something I hadn't been involved with for years and all the regulations changed in May this year (2026). But from quickly arranging a viewing with a very cheerful reception, through to moving in, it was made as seamless as possible; with all inventory and contract paperwork dealt with swiftly and efficiently. Probably the greatest attribute for me is that Lisa is always available as soon as possible (usually immediately) to speak with on the phone if there are queries. This is so unusual in this 'Robot' age of AI. My contract and payment arrangements needed to be coordinated through my house insurance policy and this was no easy task. But Lisa was always at hand to try to help with getting this arrangement to work. Very pleased with Howkins and Harrison and with Lisa. I would recommend them without hesitation.

Jamie has gone above and beyond for us at Howkins & Harrison! From the first viewing we never felt rushed, never felt silly for calling to ask for updates, and we went back to view multiple times to get everything organised without issue. Communication was always speedy and Jamie was fantastic throughout sorting any and all problems and was such a breath of fresh air from other estate agents who almost put me off buying altogether, he wasn't pushy at all and he was transparent and trustworthy. Howkins and Harrison Towcester.A long way to go in our sale but thought I'd write up a short review, about our experience with Howkins & Harrison, so far.Our time line was short, and we needed a quick change of agents. Karen and her team were super speedy to react and we were on the market within a few days. Service was great and the brochure and photo's were outstanding.Fast forward to viewings and Amy's ability to sell. Whilst my wife has dealt with most of the contact between H&H and ourselves, my understanding is Amy has been awesome and has a real knack of making potential buyers feel welcome.Fingers crossed it all goes well from here!
