We just wanted to say a massive thank you to Hawkins and Harrison, especially Jackie, for sticking with us over the last two years. We’ve been trying to buy a house for what feels like forever, with plenty of ups and downs along the way. After a long and sometimes stressful journey, especially a very uncertain final week, we finally moved into our new home last week. Jackie did absolutely everything she could to make it happen, and we truly couldn’t have asked for more. Her dedication, support, and persistence made all the difference. Me and the wife had 3 days until completion of sale (out the blue) we were panicking about finding a home to rent and as soon as we contacted Sarah and the team they had us in a beautiful home in 4 days! Jamie has gone above and beyond for us at Howkins & Harrison! From the first viewing we never felt rushed, never felt silly for calling to ask for updates, and we went back to view multiple times to get everything organised without issue. Communication was always speedy and Jamie was fantastic throughout sorting any and all problems and was such a breath of fresh air from other estate agents who almost put me off buying altogether, he wasn't pushy at all and he was transparent and trustworthy. Howkins & Harrison helped me sell my property. As my main point of contact and leading the valuation and selling process, Clair was outstanding, professional and always available to help. Just to mention as an example; during the evaluation of the property, she was not pushy or overselling or over promising. Rather she tells things as they are, which in my personal experience it is a very rare and appealing quality in this industry. She was also reliable throughout the process, til completion.

We have recently sold our house in Coleorton and from the time Billy Arckless, from the Ashby office, came out to value the property, Billy was professional, positive, proactive and helpful, ensuring that our sale was completed as smoothly as possible. Billy gave up out of hours time, missing the office Christmas drinks, to assist at the property after we had left but our buyers required supervised access to the property before final completion.

Excellent letting agents

I have rented through Howkins and Harrison for almost two years. From start to finish their staff have been fabulous! Everything was dealt with quickly and efficiently and nothing was ever too much trouble. The letting agent, Lisa Swinnerton, always went above and beyond to make sure my first renting experience in over twenty years wasn’t too scary and I can’t thank her enough. I hope not to need to rent again in the future but, should I need to, I would definitely return to this agents.

Excellent service from the Ashby Team

Having moved into the area after selling our property in Cheshire in 2021, we were hoping to find a property very quickly as we were cash buyers. We wanted to downsize. But then the property market went ‘crazy’. We basically gave the brief to the Ashby team that we would consider anything! They sent us lots of properties via email - Jackie is very efficient - and we eventually bought a small 2 bed semi detached through the Ashby office. The service they gave us was excellent. Although wanting to downsize we knew the house was too small so we spoke to them and gave them a price we would be willing to pay. Again, so helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Jackie has been marvellous. A mention too for Andrew. He showed us around most of the properties we viewed. He was also very knowledgable about the Ashby area. We have now found a house. Unfortunately it isn’t one of Howkins & Harrison’s properties but we very much appreciate the excellent service we have received from Ashby office. When we come to sell our current house we will definitely have them out to value it.
