I would just like to share a 5 Star review for Linda Redmond from the Atherstone Branch. I cannot fault her fantastic enthusiasm & knowledge on the property I have viewed & followed onto purchase. Having actual knowledge and passion for the job is so important, I have had many viewings from all different estate agents and Linda provided by far the best experience. Actually caring and taking time to know the property you are selling goes a long way, I could really tell she was passionate and had took time to give me the best information possible. I saw a house to rent with howkins and harrison Atherstone unfortunately we didn't get the property which was very upsetting for our family but lisa Swinnerton has been amazing trying to help us find another one people now a days no longer care about people or want to help but lisa goes out of her way a very kind, genuine, caring person. She is very easy to talk to so what ever your situation is tell them the truth because if lisa can help she will i highly recommend them. Fantastic service, caring and kind and lisa does not judge your circumstances it is hard to find a great company so if you want good service then go to howkins and harrison Atherstone and ask for Lisa Swinnerton you will not be disappointed with the help and support you receive.Thankyou lisa from kellie Williams and family

Northampton Branch. Javed who working there is not competent person, dont know his job. Refused my viewing form just because of his thoughts. Tried to tell me about HMO licence need for 2 person on house.HMO licence need just for 5 or more people.. Avoid him
Vitaly. I am sorry that you feel this way. Unfortunately, the landlord of the property has a specific requirement and your personal situation doesn't fit their instructions. I understand that you are disappointed but have reviewed the email conversation between Javed and yourself and feel that he has explained in detail the situation - one I do not wish to enter into on a public forum. We have a duty to carry out the wishes of our clients and we are aware of the HMO requirements, but thank you for the information. We wish you well with your search for a rental property.

I have been a tenant in a property managed by Howkins and Harrison for the past two years.Any work that has needed completing has been done proactively. The inspections are notified well in advance and any routine maintenance is also planned in. It was great to move into a fab, clean and ideal property with new carpets. It has been my first rental that feels like 'home'.As a tenant it is important to have an easy and efficient point of contact and clear communication.It has been a smooth, trouble free and helpful service from my local branch in Daventry.

Very strange behaviour from this company. We viewed a house near Atherstone on Saturday and put an offer in (at asking price) to be told they would come back to us on Monday. Straight after I received an email from the estate agent asking me to leave them a 5 star review on here and that they would get a personal bonus if I did so. I'm certainly not against helping people out where I can but the person really just followed us round the property and didn't actually know much about it. I'm also fairly sure asking specifically for a 5 star review is against policy on nearly all review sites.We heard nothing back on Monday and when I called to chase on Tuesday they told me the property had already been sold on Saturday (the day we viewed) and we should have been told... presumably by them?! When I asked them to put in a higher offer they said they were fairly sure the vendor wouldn't accept now (they had a cash buyer but I assume most sellers would still want to be made aware of other offers) and were more interested in knowing if I was planning on selling my own property. A really disappointing experience all round.

We were certainly not timely on this occasion, and apologise for any frustration caused.Unfortunately, the property you viewed was extremely popular and attracted a number of offers. When you called for an update, we had just completed the due diligence on an offer that was proceedable and were in the process of informing the others who had offered that they were unsuccessful. Our client was aware of all offers and this was the one they wished to go ahead with. There are many motivations for people to sell, and in this particular case, the sellers were happy with the offers they received and we acted upon their instructions. We wish you every luck with your property search and offer our apologies that the request for a review was handled incorrectly.

We had lived in the house we sold for 54 years, having bought it through Howkins & Harrison in 1968. I had no thought other than asking them again to help sell the house. They did not disappoint and have kept up the superb standards of years ago. The whole team worked very hard through ups and downs to get the job done. We had to contact the Atherstone branch to arrange the retrieval of our passports from one of their rental properties that is unoccupied as they were put through the wrong letterbox by the courier.Nikki very kindly arranged to meet us there to retrieve them, he made a special journey which is very much appreciated as we are about 45 mins from the branch.
