GoogleIncredibly helpful, kind and understanding people, who clearly know the property market inside out. And into the bargain, they deal with the estate agents, which takes quite a bit of stress and frustration out of the whole thing! Highly recommended.

As of December 2025 i am looking forward to working with Homewise to help me secure my next home. They are so lovely to talk to , they are never pushy and they have so much empathy for your needs . From the start of our move from East Preston to Devon, everyone in the Office has beenr theso kind and helpful .. especially Rhonda and latterly when things became difficult Sean. We felt we always had a contact and as we had to sell and move inwith our relations temporarily time was so important to us. It now looks as if we are able to move into our new flat quite soon. Thank you to everyone at Homewise .. we can thoroughly recommend them.

GoogleThey are very inflexible with their criteria. They have lost me an almost perfect apartment because they don't understand the local property market. They have a policy of not financing you if the building has a business attached. In my case the apartment I wanted was at the opposite end to the business and would have had no impact on the apartment. It was in an excellent location and would sell well in the future. Their concern was that it might not sell in the future but it certainly would.

As a business, we have criteria in place to ensure that all properties purchased meet the requirements as a Home for Life. The property standards we follow are similar to mortgage lending criteria for the best interests of our customers. Unfortunately, in this case, the property did not meet our criteria as it was attached to a commercial property. Homewise do not purchase properties that may be unsuitable or may impact the long-term wellbeing of our customers and, whilst we do consider the future saleability of any property we purchase, we are committed to finding the right home so that customers can be happy and secure for their lifetime. Being attached to a commercial property, for example, can impact property insurance costs and carry greater risk of fire, robbery, and disturbance with antisocial business hours.
