I sold my house with holden copley (HC), and there were many issues throughout the process which has caused this negative review. Firstly, there were many issues in HC showing people around my property. This includes HC staff not setting my alarm when leaving the property despite being told to do so. They also "forgot" to open the garage for viewers to view my garage on several occasions. There was a time which my fuse was tripped during a viewing, i was not informed of this. HC staff just left my property without calling me. Once an offer was accepted, HC staff were informed of a time and date of a survey however they did not tell me that they had given access to my property and simply let the surveyor in my property without notice. It was at this point that HC felt that they should compensate me. However what happened after, triggered this review. I call to ask for an update on the completion of the sale of my property. HC staff just simply tell me that they are too busy today and are dealing with 27 completions. If you are "too busy" why take on more business than you can manage? In actual fact i am getting more updates on the completion of my property from the seller's estate agents than my own!

The start of the process was fantastic, the house valuation - VERY professional, the photos & Vid taken all very impressive.... house sold within days ! Perfect. The moment the house sale was confirmed, it have been extremely disappointing. I was railroaded into using there 'there preferred solicitor' - someone you can never get hold of.... each hiding behind each other... the process has become very frustrating and disappointing. From my experience - seek your own solicitor, as it is clear this arrangement is compromised & floored. I hope that the end of this process improves & concludes in the same way it started.

This team are not only artistic and forward thinking, but charismatic with old school ethics. Well done! 🥳 In my own experience, I have enjoyed a paramount service and professional conduct at all times. This is exemplified, by; an open house viewing where nine, or more qualified buyers were in attendance - even before the house was on the www! That is - imho, excellent! One could say, where art meets science - to create a true virtual 3D tour, taking only seconds, marketed in such a way that demonstrates true appreciation. On the whole, Holden Copley have been an absolute pleasure to deal with, most importantly, having had the pleasure of meeting each representative. Fantastic experience from the start, the initial consultation with Tom to the wonderful photographer Lauren (helps that she was dog friendly). Very professional. Been an absolute pleasure to deal with, with updates every few days on the progression of the sale. The only negative is the field based sales team. Very rushed and one particular young lad, actually rude. On the second viewing on the property I had an appointment at a specific time, to which I arrived on time. Only to be greeted with ‘your going to have to be quick, I finish at 5’. We’re not talking a few quid, it’s hundreds of thousands of pounds. I’m a sales manager so I just ignored it, but this approach and even this type of comment could well put off prospective buyers. When asking questions about the property, there was too many ‘I don’t knows’. This is either because they are not provided with adequate information prior, or they don’t utilise the information. Other then that, everything else is spot on. Dawn, the mortgage advisor based in house is brilliant! I have a lot of time for her and the valuable advice she’s given me.
