GoogleThe experience we've had with this estate agent is the worst I've experienced so far. I don't usually leave reviews even when having bad experiences but this one deserves it. We've arrived at a viewing for a house sale a few minutes before our time slot and waited for the agent to arrive to show us around. The agent was late to the viewing, and gave a poor excuse "it's one of those mornings". We thought ok, it happens. Ouside the property there was another lady who said she'd viewed the property before and forgot her sunglasses so she was there to pick them up. We thought ok, it'll be quick in/out for her. But it was far from it. Not only the estate agent let us both enter the property at the same time (while we're in the middle of a pandemic), the lady who was supposed to pick her glasses started going around the garden and the property and having a look at the property again. Then she started asking the estate agent questions about the property. We in the meantime went around the house on our own with no word from the estate agent because she was too busy talking to the other person. WE found the singlasses of that lady and told her to come pick them up from upstairs. She took her time and made sure to go around the bedrooms to have a look at, while talking to the estate agent who was supposed to show US around. It was clear the sunglasses was just a pretend to have a second viewing for the property during our time slot. The estate agent was more interested in talking to that lady than telling us anything about the property even though it was our viewing slot. Great way to sell a property. I have never experienced unprofessionalism to this extent and I hope no one else goes through somethig similar. This is not how you sell a house. We were left very disappointed by the experience.NegativeProfessionalism

GoogleWithout doubt the best service I have experienced from any business, ever! Jeremy, Harriet and Liam were so incredibly helpful every step of the way. We had considered going via an internet agent but SO glad we didn't. Hockeys will give you an honest appraisal of your property and know how the market is functioning to help ensure a speedy sale. They then chase and manage everything really well, with speedy communication that helps put your mind at rest during a very stressful time. Feeling very blessed by the team at Hockeys and wouldn't hesitate to use them again. I would also highly recommend Mike Orbell, who fought tooth and nail to get our mortgage through on time, and Karen and Ashley at Hayward Moon Conveyancers who were equally tenacious and communicative. GoogleHad very very bad experience with this property agent. Staff not professional at all, not putting the actual offers, not available to speak to the customers when calling them, telling the customer noone is available in the office and not getting back to you on time when waited for 2 weeks or more after putting an offer.

Hello George, I am sorry to hear that you have not been satisfied with the service received from our Cambridge office. I can confirm that all offers received were put forward to our client, who decided to accept a best and final offer from another party. In regard to telephone calls, when we are receiving a high number of calls, the lines automatically divert to our receptionist who cannot access our diaries and isn't based in the branch, so will inform callers that the member of staff requested is out of the office by default. Please accept my apologies if you feel that your returned calls were not timely, I have addressed this with the team as this does fall short of what we expect. GoogleI used Hockeys recently to sell my house. Ellis, Ben and Harriet were helpful and very good at communicating and explaining the process throughout. The photos and video they took were very professional. They were also happy to escort all the viewings to allow me to keep working. Although I didn't require many viewings as my house sold very quickly as they were also able to find an interested buyer as it just went onto the market which was great. Thanks for helping make a smooth house sale.

His advice throughout in terms of sales price, negotiating, and securing an offer was brilliant, and left me feeling reassured. The service provided by the whole office team has been fantastic, in terms of feedback following viewings and drafting the particulars. The online platform to manage viewings was also really useful.
