Worktops supported by building waste ie cement splashed bit of architrave gas pipe not clipped behind oven Lino in bathrooms bubbling up list is endless this was one house out of several

UPDATE (6/02/22) - We have got a callback today from Matt who was sincerely apologetic, and was not able to get in contact due to matters outside his control - That we did appreciate and he was lovely and answered all our pending questions which went a long way to making us feel hopeful._UPDATE (6/02/22) - So after seemed like a promising start. We have yet to receive any contact from the Harron site in regard to a plot we would love to secure, this is despite multiple calls and messages left asking to be called back. _(29/01/22) As first-time buyers, we were keen to deal with house developers who were willing to listen to us and patiently advise us, not sell to us. That’s what we found with Matt & Sylvia at Thorpe Meadows. They have been genuinely lovely. We can’t wait to deal with them as we navigate through this process and get our first home._We will continue to update this review.

Me and my partner have reserved our plot with Harron Homes at Thorseby Vale. We have experienced amazing service, friendly sales representatives and have felt welcome throughout our journey. Michelle at the Thorseby Vale Development has been brilliant. Michelle has been very welcoming and friendly and has always taken time to speak with us and go through everything with us. We couldn’t have asked for a better sales representative. We have been to other developments previously and have not experience the level of friendliness and service we have received with Harron Homes. We will be recommending Harron Homes to our friends and family and we are exicited to cary on our journey with Harron Homes.

We’ve just reserved a plot at The Hawthornes, Carlton. After a clunky start we’ve been well looked after by Nicola and she’s been there for every step of the way and nothing is too much trouble. We’ve still got a way to go, so once we’re in our new house and all is well, I’ll be more than happy to adjust to a 5 star

I was quite worried about buying a new build house given all the horrible reviews online. However I can say harron homes have exceeded my expectations. From reserving the house to moving in the whole process has been smooth and effortless. We have bought on The Hawthornes, North Yorkshire. The site manager and customer service team have been great. They are actually chasing me to compete snags! The few workmen who have already been out to compete snags have been efficient & tidy and have done a great job. Overall I am very happy with our new home & it is above and beyond what I expected it to be.

I always had concerns about purchasing a new build and after visiting several different developers over the past 12 months my mind had not changed, until I visited Thorpe Meadows yesterday!! Matt at Thorpe Meadows took the time to patiently listen to our concerns and requirements giving us the reassurance we were seeking for me and my partner to buy our first home together. Matt took into account our situation and the fact we had been looking for so long, I was nearly ready to give up looking. Thanks to Matt I left the sales office feeling excited about 2022, in fact I took my parents back an hour later to visit the show homes!! I cannot wait to go back and start the process to find our dream home.

Dangerous- no pavements or roads 2 years in and it’s still dangerous for my little girl to ride her bike in the estate built by Harron homes. Pavements and roads are not finished. This is an accident waiting to happen.

DO NOT under any circumstances purchase a house from these utter cowboys! The only thing worse than the build quality is their ability and desire to sort the endless list of issues and problems (sometimes serious).It seems that having lived in house for over 5 years we have been informed by the council that they haven't actually ever received a completion certificate!!!Plot 8, Farriers Way

Don’t do it! 2 years of stress and still nothing is sorted. Horror homes do not reply to emails or get back to telephone calls. They agree you have things wrong with your property and then go quiet. I imaging most people just give in and live with wonky walls, windows that don’t stop the elements, missing insulation, creeky floor boards, damp, DPC underground, corbeling falling off the house and doors that don’t close. Shocking company. Customer care is virtually zero. Do not buy from this company unless you want years of chasing snagging and in my case structural issues that just get ignored. Building work on the Amberwood estate in Dewsbury was finished over a year ago and we still don’t have finished pavements or roads. It’s dangerous for children to play out. Builders fencing has been left up outside my garden and when I asked for it to be taken down I was told “you can’t prove it’s our fencing”. We have too many snagging issues to mention and the site manager laughed at me when I asked about them getting fixed/repaired. His reply was “ you get what you pay for” ( his name is Matthew Bradwell) Hopefully you can avoid him. 1 star is too many but you can’t give zero.

We recently moved into our property at the Hawthornes estate in Carlton, North Yorkshire and I love it. Getting to completion wasn't the easiest process - but when is it, and that isn't the builders fault. Sandra at the Hawthornes office was a gem, absolute legend. She really went above and beyond for us, and I think was the reason I was sane throughout the process. The property is great, minor snags really and out of those we reported we've got maybe 1 or 2 outstanding - bearing in mind we moved in just before Christmas I think that is great. Zak is a brilliant site manager, and all the interactions we've had with the team on site have been friendly, professional and just helpful. I cannot fault them at all. I'd recommend this site, these people and this company. I am in love with my home and they couldn't have made us more welcome, or done any more for us.
