GoogleI viewed a house with H&B and the team have been amazing, they have been efficient in putting through my application and have regularly updated me on the progress. GoogleMaking an appointment with Mortgage Advisor Chris Astill was one of the best decisions I have made as a First Time Buyer. He patiently explained the entire process to me and answered all of my questions and queries about the different options available. Chris kept in regular contact and provided really useful updates as I moved through the process. Thanks to Chris I secured an offer on a great mortgage product that I would not have been able to secure had I approached the lenders directly. Chris, it has been a pleasure and thanks very much!

GoogleWell today I collect the keys for our new adventure! I'm nervous to say the least but all I can say is the team at Hall & Benson Alfreton have made the whole experience so much more pleasurable! A big shout out to Chris Astill especially, he was always on the end of the phone no matter how much I needed him. He always explained everything to me & kept me updated & if he couldn't he would always go away & find the answers. He was my Estate Agent & Mortgage Broker & it was so much easier having everything under one roof. And right at the last minute he saved us money on our mortgage as the interest rates had dropped since we first applied! Don't get me wrong it is still a very stressful thing buying a house so to have a team on your side & help as much as possible definitely made a huge difference for a working mum! Thanks guys.

GoogleRented through Hall and Benson for 3 years. Rude on the phone, condescending and a jobs worth. Now after leaving the property in a better condition than I had to live in from the lack of maintenance done them/landlord has fought me for compensation from things as small as a missed sweet wrapped behind furniture i missed. While in the property my child was 2 and from that age till we left was holes everywhere and nothing was done even when I advised mice were coming in the house for 2 years. Advised of issues whole time while there and when I left they were used against me to get deposit back. House was so cold was warmer outside. Will never use this company ever again, avoid. Joke. When this company make a mistake they don't apologise they make you feel its your issue and hound you for things continually. House checks are supposed to be done 3 a year, but only done in summer months every other month and then once summers over you don't see anything of them till summer again. Worst experience of my life, really affected my mental health specially as the mind games that went on from them and having to live in such terrible conditions for saying was paying to live there. Update - After having to complain to the company after having been left the property 15 months ago, in the last 2 month been contacted by 6 contractors to do work on that property I left. Complained to company and in writing a month ago and was advised they would take my contact details out. However now a month later I receive another contractor contacting me about the property to do work on. When I ring they say they will try not to let it happen again but didnt seem too concerned that my details were given out 7 times after leaving and said was just a mistake. I don't see how after being told about this happening twice and apparently they taken my details off their records that my contact details are being sent out still. They said was just a mistake but after previously been contacted so many times I don't see how 7 different contractors contacting me and after knowing I've raised a formal complaint how it happens again but its still just a mistake.

GoogleIt's hard to put into words how much I appreciate the effort and support Molly Hutchby and her team (Hall and Benson Lettings and maintenance) have provided to my wife a I, during a long and painful process of the eviction of personal from our rented property. While having legal support from DAS legal solicitors, Molly has coordinated information between all parties, which was vital, especially up to and during a stressful court hearing. Molly remained calm and supportive, providing the relevant questions and answers, in order we can process this very complicated procedure to a successful conclusion. Thank you Molly Hutchby. GoogleDo not rent under any circumstances. We advised Hall and Bensons that we would vacate the property and gave ample notice. The landlord increased the rent from £875 to £960 per month for the last 3 months. No compassion whatsoever, you would believe that an increase in rent would not have been done 2-3 months before leaving on the basis of spending nearly 4 years in the property. We vacated the property over 28 days ago, check out was carried out early January. I was assured that they will keep me up to date. I initiated every contact and still waiting for the deposit and apparently waiting for quotes? Not made aware that they are waiting for quotes. Still don't know what the quotes are for? We lived in the property for nearly 4 years, standard wear and tear, no malicious damage to the property was done. Hall and Benson are still processing "quotes" a month later. We have rented several times previously and deposits were dealt with within 7-14 days after checkout. If you want to be mugged out of your deposit rent a property through Hall and Bensons. They are masters at fobbing you off. Companies like Hall and Bensons give estate agents a bad name. Customer service - 0 Customer care - 0 Compassion - 0 Communication - 0

GoogleWe are currently using Danielle Stapleton as our mortgage advisor/broker, and we honestly are so happy with the service received. Face to face appointments which were made super quick, very fast updates and replies, and she even got us a mortgage within 2 weeks. Would recommend to absolutely anybody.
