GoogleWe sold our house through Hackney & Leigh last month. From start to finish the service we received was first class. The photographer who did the fabulous brochure & all the staff in the office were so lovely, helpful, efficient &, very approachable. Even after we sold, subject to contract they carried on working tirelessly to make sure our sale went through smoothly. We found out more from them than our solicitor. We were kept updated every step of the way, I highly recommend them & would absolutely use them if we were moving again.

GoogleAfter deciding to sell got quotes from 4 local agents. 2 valuers impressed me with their knowledge and attitude but went with Keira and H&L because of their greater local coverage and our type of property. Maurice and Gail were great with the viewings. Ellie and Shannon kept us updated. We had thought of trying to sell privately, but I'm really glad we used an agent. House sales seem more complicated and fraught than when we last bought over 20 years ago and Keira's cool head and professionalism helped keep us on track and sane through all the hurdles. Thank you all.

GoogleThe lettings team at Hackney & Leigh have been excellent in fulfilling our dream of relocating to the Lake District. The speed and efficiency of the process from seeing the listing we were interested in all the way through to moving into the property met our timescales perfectly. James has always been quick and knowledgeable when answering any questions we've had, and Jana, who we met during the key handover, was very polite and provided us with everything we needed. Leaving the office in Grange-Over-Sands, we felt reassured that the team would look after our interests for the future.

GoogleWe experienced excellent service from start to finish from all at Hackney & Leigh who were involved in the sale of our family house. From the initial visit and quotation by Elaine through the marketing, sale and completion of the process, all members of staff were helpful, friendly, professional and supportive. The photographer they used captured the house and garden at its very best. Special thanks to Maurice and Gail who did such a good job of showing the house and to Ellie and Shannon for their hard work and meticulous work behind the scenes and the brilliant way in which they communicated with us. We would definitely recommend Hackney & Leigh.

GoogleMy review is based on fact and my personal experience of using this company whilst looking to Rent a commercial unit for the purpose of running a cafe. Communications were very poor from the start and throughout the process of enquiring about the opportunity of renting the unit(s) for the purpose of running a cafe. The first issue was the advertising of the unit; it was advertised as £600 per month, however, buried deep in the description, it was actually 2 units, each at £600 per unit. To cut a long story short, after several weeks of chasing, I had to pull out of this rental, due to absolutely shocking communications and no formal lease agreement in place at the time of advertising. Hackney and Leigh suggested the delays were due to the landlord; however, having contacted the landlord directly, I was told otherwise. I personally, would not use this company again, as mentioned, this is 1 of 3 incidents over the past 10 months of using this company.
