Fantastic estate agents. Our house sold within 3 weeks of being on the market thanks to Paul’s hard work, no viewing or queries was too much trouble. After the sale, Liv was also just as helpful, answering questions and chasing any issues instantaneously, maintaining contact at all times. Good communication from all in a cheerful and positive manner. A very difficult sale process was made to feel somewhat easier by their willing to chase rather reactive and somewhat pedantic solicitors on both sides of the process. The day the legal process of buying and selling is modernised and simplified cannot come too soon. We honestly can’t thank the Grange team enough for helping us move into our dream home. What really stood out was the personal touch. They genuinely cared about the property, the current owners and us! They celebrated every milestone with us and were always on hand with reassurance and advice when we needed it most. It was also so lovely to finally meet Helen in person after speaking to her so many times on the phone. Very professional service, quickly found a buyer!

I was having trouble selling my house at Scattergate Green, Appleby and decided to change my estate agent in a bid to get things moving. Hackney and Leigh have been very easy to work with so far; they gave an honest and fair assessment of the houses value, were very quick to advertise the house on social media, put up sign posts etc (which the previous agent had not done) and were getting viewers in within a week of putting the place up for sale. Fingers crossed but within a month we have a buyer and a fair price after waiting for months beforehand just to get people through the door! I appreciate Hackney and Leigh's advice and expertise hopefully getting the house sold, especially Gill, Emily and Sarah for their help.

I’ve had consistently poor experiences with this agency over the past couple of months. Each time I enquire about a property, I’m asked for my availability, only to be told shortly afterwards that viewings are suddenly “fully capped.” This has happened repeatedly, even with properties that have been sitting on the market for weeks. At this point, I genuinely don’t understand why they ask for availability at all instead of simply offering the slots they’re actually willing to honour. On the one occasion I did manage to get a viewing, the property had a very strong cigarette smell, which the agent tried to pass off as “new carpet smell.” Despite the place clearly not being right for us, we were pressured to apply immediately “or it would be taken.” That same property is still listed months later and has already been reduced twice. Overall, the pattern feels misleading and unnecessarily difficult. Renting is stressful enough without this kind of inconsistency.

Poor service from start to finish, moving into the rental there was a leak in the basement which had flooded, I had no access to any windows to open them! Inspections were very patronising... Even though property wasn't in the correct condition upon completion of contract, maintenance wasn't kept on top off... Poor service and definitely wouldn't recommend.

Travelled from Somerset to view a property. Expected to meet a knowledgeable estate agent. Instead met by a guy who said who couldn't answer any questions as he was just a man with keys. Property described as well presented which it certainly wasn't. Rubbish in the property. Overgrown garde with falling down sheds. Peeling paint, evidence of damp. No way could your immediately live in this property. Very disappointing.

I had problems with selling my home with a different agency, Paul and his team went above and beyond to help me purchase my next one through his agency by helping me with my agency too. Didnt know they would do that, wish he had been my agent for the sale! If i move again he will be my absolutely be my agent! Paul and his team are fantastic. (In particular we dealt with Paul and Maria and they were both absolutely brilliant.) They helped us every step of the way with selling our property and they were always there for us when we needed them.
