I had an excellent experience with Hackney & Leigh in Keswick throughout the sale of my property. From start to finish, the team was professional, responsive, and supportive, making what can often be a stressful process feel well managed. A special mention goes to Simon Bennett, who was outstanding throughout. He maintained excellent communication with both myself and the buyers, ensuring everyone was kept informed and any issues were dealt with promptly. His proactive approach, attention to detail, and commitment to seeing the sale through to completion made a real difference. I would highly recommend Hackney & Leigh to anyone looking to buy or sell property in the area. Their professionalism, expertise, and customer service were first-class.

Ryan led on the sale of our house from start to finish. At different stages of the sale he involved other members of the team, all of whom were exceptional. In particular, we thought Jamie who created the brochure including photos and video did an excellent job. Chloe and Emily were brilliant at showing people round and keeping in touch with us, and Jamie-Lee handled many of the calls about arrangements really well. Ryan’s leadership was outstanding and highly professional. We highly recommend the Colwyn Bay team for both property sale and purchase.

We've just sold, subject to contract, through Hackney & Leigh. We interviewed 4 agents and Jill stood head and shoulders above the others in terms of professionalism, knowledge and positivity about our house, the market and how H&L could help us. Everyone we have dealt with so far (Jill, Emily & Sara) have been professional and knowledgeable. Things get done and quickly. They used a professional photographer including drone footage and both the Rightmove advert and brochure really showed off our house in the best light. Leading to a good level of interest. We are in a rural location but only took 4 weeks to receive an offer we are very happy with. I recommend H&L as a great estate agent who will work hard to get your property sold quickly.

Not surprised with the score as I have had worst experience with this company. It was far better when it was keys letting and as soon as Hackney and Leigh took over maintenance and service started deteriorating. The inspection does not happen every 6 months as it is stated in the contract - you will need to chase multiple times. Maintenance enquiries will be left unattended for months. It got so bad that the tenant had to contact me directly. If you want to give money to someone without having any work done you can choose them
