GoogleWould highly recommend for a house purchase. They were clear with the purchase process throughout and communicated well and promptly. Nothing seemed too much trouble, and they were very accommodating to our requests.

GoogleA somewhat mixed experience, as it probably is for everyone 2022. Martyn Venner, who set up our sale, was very good. Whoever did the brochure made loads of schoolkid errors that needed correction (punctuation, spelling etc). Those who showed folks around were generally good. The ball was dropped over an offer that was made to us. Communication up to seven weeks or so before we hoped to exchange was dreadful. My emails were not replied to. Neither were pleas from my solicitor. Everything changed when Bill (William) Cosgrove, our 'Progressor', came on the scene. After a week or so to get up to speed them man was a legend at chasing the chain to get things moving. He was polite, firm and assertive (in totally the right way). In fact he was like a bloodhound- and I very much doubt our sale would have completed without him! So- all credit to him and others who helped! Thank you!! Top man, Bill! Overall, it still seems like an awful lot of money for what it is. My conveyancer worked like a trojan and got less than half the amount. Just my thoughts, though.

GoogleMoving house is hard, we all know it and sometimes the amount of stress and people involved can be overwhelming. Whilst other aspects of my chain we often infuriating (makes me want to open my own agency to do better!), Ben Dunton and particularly Bill Cosgrove were professional, friendly and overall exceptional in communication, chasing and appreciating what every buyer and seller goes through. Bill made our move simplistic by being what we would all wish for in sales progression. We can't thank him and the team enough.

The Taunton Team are extremely knowledgeable and professional, whilst being friendly and very efficient throughout the entire process. We put two properties on the market with GTH Taunton, which in the current climate was a challenge, however GTH came through and we had full asking price offers for both within a noticeably brief time, with one now contract exchanged and the other sold subject to contract. I would have no hesitation in highly recommending GTH as the estate agents to use if you have a property to sell.

GoogleWe cannot be positive enough about GTH. Jessie was excellent as the vendors representative and I could not have asked for more. However the true legend at GTH is Bill Cosgrove, and it surprises me not to see others have said the same. At times it did not feel our chain would exchange but nothing stops Bill and we cannot thank him enough. If you want to sell in Taunton and want to have an unflappable and relentless team in your side, I cannot recommend them enough. Jessie, Bill, thank you!!?

GoogleWhat's the record for the time between placing a property with an estate agent and selling for the full asking price? I don't know, but I don't believe anyone could have done it faster than GTH, or in a more thorough and professional manner. Having confirmed our appointment of GTH, the photographer (Richard Sainsbury) and the branch manager (Katie Cross) both visited the property on Thursday. By Friday afternoon a superb brochure had been produced and the house was on the market in time for the weekend. Two viewings were arranged for Monday afternoon and by 5pm the full asking price has been offered and accepted. Job done. Wow! Except, of course, it doesn't stop there. There's the whole business of progressing the sale through to completion, which was handled with terrier-like determination and, despite inevitable frustrations, a remarkably even-tempered demeanour by Bill Cosgrove. Our experience of GTH could not have been better. We found them active, energetic and professional, but also pleasant and easy to deal with, so the potential stresses were kept to a minimum. Everyone involved deserves to be mentioned by name and all deserve our grateful thanks.

Once our offer was accepted the progression of the purchase was managed by Bill Cosgrove. It is fair to say that this very difficult transaction would not have come to a successful and rapid conclusion without Bill's very extensive negotiating, project management and diplomatic skills!
