Dear Naomi, We are disappointed to read your recent review of our sales and rental department. We appreciate you taking the time to let us know your thoughts and apologise if you felt that you did not have a main point of contact during the course of your sale. We find that it is useful to have a couple of staff members involved in the sales process so that in the event that the main point of contact is unavailable, we will still be able to provide assistance should it be required. With regard to launching your property at a higher level than you considered necessary; before attending a valuation we always complete local property comparisons, while also taking into account movement in the house price index and economical conditions so that we may place your property at the correct level. These results are then discussed with the vendor at the time of valuation. I can assure you that every opportunity is given to our vendors to adjust any aspect of the brochure they may not be happy with, including the guide price. It was unfortunate that your first sale was abortive and we appreciate that this can be frustrating, however we were pleased to agree your property again soon after and progress it successfully through to completion. We apologise if you felt that we were not involved with gathering non-essential maintenance quotes during the rental process, however we have evidence of a long string of email communication between yourself and our team. If you wish to discuss any of the issues you mention in greater depth, please feel free to contact us anytime.
