GTH were our sellers’ estate agent but you would have thought (James in particular) they were ours. James went above and beyond to get the house sale through and his knowledge and expertise really helped us navigate a very stressful time with our estate agents and often helped to decipher the solicitors’ unnecessarily complicated jargon! There will never be enough “thank you’s” to really thank him and we often found ourselves saying “thank god James came to work today!” They have everything in house (not something I was aware of before we picked our estate agent) so I would absolutely say please choose them over other high street names who don’t have this access and expertise knowledge.

This latest one was sold to the first person through the door after just 4 days (including a second viewing) at full asking price. I did make the mistake of trying to use an alternative Estate agent once and after several months switched to Greenslade who within 3 weeks had the very beautiful home sold. Extremely disappointing! We purchased a property through GTH, and initially, communication was 'ok', but shortly afterwards, our agent left the company and we had a different agent as a point of contact. The vast majority of updates and communication came from our own, (different), estate agents, who we used to sell our own property. GTH are a large company, and so I cannot speak for other offices, but the office that we dealt with in Burnham, were terrible. I was personally updating the person that we purchased the property from as he had absolutely no idea what was going on, as he also stated that GTH Burnham, were not communicating with him. Communication is of paramount importance during the stress of buying and selling a property, and GTH Burnham failed dismally in that area.

Really disappointed with the communication I received. I inquired on a property on Friday last week, to which I also rang the branch and was told the will book a viewing for me. A few days had passed so on the Monday I went in and explain I have inquired already and I’m happy to view the property listed. I was told I will get a call back… 5 days passed and nothing. Really poor communication, there are other estate agents in burnham that are much better.
