GoogleI was very disappointed with the service I received from Shonda. Gemma had made an appointment with me & had rescheduled the time for me, knowing fully well I was travelling from far. Shonda then rang me when I had already travelled 3/4 of my journey to cancel. She did not bother to rearrange another time or day saying 3 people had already expressed interest. In my experience of property management expressing interest and actually reserving a property are two different things. I was very disappointed with this kind of treatment given that fuel prices are rising, that she could just drop my viewing at the drop of a hat. Also it seems to me that there is a lot of unnecessary profiling as this funny behaviour only started after I received an email asking me to confirm my surname!! Very sad to see that we still live in ancient times. Please be professional every one has rights despite their ethnic origin!

Dear Marie, I am very sorry that you were not able to see the property. I have now spoken to Shonda and in her defense, your appointment in the Haslemere area was for 3.00 p.m.You called at 2.40 p.m. saying that you would not be able to get to the property before 3.30 p.m. Having completed all of her previous viewings, Gemma unfortunately did not have the time to wait and our other staff were also all occupied. We make every effort to try and be flexible but in some cases it is just not possible. Having experience of property management, I am sure you can appreciate that July is by far and away a lettings businesses busiest month. I would also very strongly refute any suggestion of poor treatment due to any ethnic origin, our staff have never and would never treat anyone differently for any reason. Asking for a surname among other pertinent details is very standard practice and has been since the disappearance of Suzy Lamplugh in 1986. Whilst you are correct that reserving a property and expressing an interest are two different things, the interest was serious enough to warrant not wasting any more of your time as well as that of the people who were the interested parties. The reality is that the supply of property at the moment cannot meet the huge demand and people will inevitably be disappointed. Shonda did feel bad about how far you travelled, which is why she asked if you had others to see, which you confirmed you did. I hope that it wasn't a completely wasted journey and one of the other properties was suitable.

GoogleBest letting agents I”ve ever experienced. Shonda looked after us in our rented home, she was responsive and always came back quickly with solutions to our little teething problems when we moved in. Moving in was made simple and we were provided with an in-depth tour of the workings of the house, so we weren’t left to figure things out for ourselves. Always helpful, calm and able to resolve issues quickly. I can honestly say that she made our time smoother and took away any stresses, making us feel like we were in a safe pair of hands where nothing was too much trouble. I highly recommend this property agency. (Haslemere branch)

GoogleI was pleased to have come across Grantley, the knowledge, the service and experience from Grantley about the area was just magnificent. The help and support they bought/offered with advice was the best I could have asked for. I went to a few of the other property companies in the area and found them to be "well let us see" no follow real up, I felt I had to ask all the questions, and had to use goggle to get some basic local knowledge. Thank you Grantley and thank you to the Grantley team.

GoogleSusie from Grantley was an absolute godsend and the most helpful and caring estate agent I've ever worked with. I went through a month of house hunting and agencies trying to relocate from the US to the UK, having not the best experience at all and panicking at the process. But finally finding Grantley, Susie made the experience seamless and helped me so much with be being overseas during most of it and being unfamiliar with the UK process. She even helped me find suggestions for yards for my horse. I feel completely at ease knowing I'm taken care of I would recommend Susie and Grantley a thousand times over in this fast paced world where you feel as if you're just another number in the queue.

GoogleAs a tenant I can thoroughly recommend Shonda Underwood of Grantleys Haslemere. With so little stock we needed to act quickly to secure a rental property. Shonda was supremely efficient and quick to respond and I really felt she pushed things along and facilitated the process at every stage.She is friendly, sensible and very professional. Incoming and outgoing inventories were dealt with swiftly, queries raised and resolved promptly and our deposit swiftly returned. She will definitely be my first port of call if I need rental services again in the Haslemere area.

We need not have worried as Shonda Underwood at Haslemere was exceptional in looking after us; quick to alert us in a market short of stock, patient with us while we searched for the right property, highly efficient at each stage of the process and extremely personable at all times. He was very courteous in his response, and efficient in getting Mark from his team to visit my home to discuss my options. Mark then followed up very promptly with the paperwork. I would highly recommend them for their professionalism and bespoke approach. The team really believe in what they do. And they take pride in doing it well. And it shows. They are a breath of fresh air in this space.

GoogleWe were looking for a property near my daughter’s school, and liked a property managed by Grantley. We approached the team for further process. Charlie was more helpful in arranging the viewing, and with the other letting processes. Charlie and Helene was extremely communicative and easy to reach to answer any of our questions at all times. It was our first time renting and we where naturally nervous with all of the paperwork and detail on emails with not having a solicitor review everything like you would when buying and selling, but the team made us feel super comfortable and took us through everything we needed to know. Charlie was very responsive on all emails and questions all the way up to the day we moved in and even met us with the keys! Great experience!
