Throughout our three years we dealt with Lilian as our property manager. She was amazing! She provided an exceptionally high level of customer service and was always a phone call away and ready to help. Our tenancy came to an end due to our landlord selling. During this difficult time, Sharmila and Lilian helped us as much as they could. As with so many letting agents, whilst looking for a property you have to list your preferences and needs. The same occurred with Goodfellows when registering with them after calling about a property they had advertised meeting our specifications. So why is it that we then received calls for properties well outside our desired needs. (Nearly £700 over our budget or completely the wrong areas) We gave clear maximum price, clear min and max rooms and very clear areas and locations. The first call I can somewhat get over, but the second its becoming an headache. This isn't just a Goodfellows issue, they are one of many. When I explained this situation to the lady calling, she became very dismissive and ended up slamming the phone down on me. Not at all what you would expect from a "professional". Given how easy it is to sell property at the moment (demand massively outweighing supply), letting agents really need to stop treating us all like a number. You're supposed to be selling to me. If only landlords knew what they were paying their fees for.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THESE AGENTS unless you want to keep having to play a chasing game. Me and my boyfriend enquired about a 1 bed house to rent in mitcham back in march, we viewed it and since then we have been going back and fourth about requesting for a second viewing (they havent gotten back to us about a second viewing). We’ve put an offer down and since then have been playing a chasing game, everytime we call about the property the agent we enquired (Shyvonne) with is always “never there”. They’ll then say that we will get a call back but we never do? It’s always us having to follow up with them about the property. It feels as if we’re “bothering” them at this point, when we shouldn’t have to feel like that right??. Today (29/4/2024) my boyfriend called to ask about whether they received our offer and an agent named james said that Shyvonne is still on the phone, so my boyfriend asked how long will the phone call take because he doesn't mind staying on hold, to which this man replied “how long is a piece of string”. Im sorry but if you are going to speak to clients with attitude and be cocky then maybe this isn’t the right job for you…this field requires you to work with people and provide good customer service but unfortunately these people do not know what that is (please provide more training). For weeks these people have told us that we will get a call back or an update but they haven't even bothered to do so. In conclusion if you are a landlord or a tenant do not waste your time, money AND effort with people that are clearly careless about their job. And for the landlord who owns the 1 bed house in mitcham, you’d be better off renting out your house at another company cause these people are wasting your time and your money on agent fees. This house has been available for months and me and my boyfriend have been one of a few people that are interested and willing to rent out the property at asking price. It’s such a shame because the house does work out very well for me and my boyfriend, unfortunately we are not interested anymore. (I hate giving out bad reviews and name dropping by the way, but i really just have to put out a warning because I'm genuinely shocked by the people that work in this branch. They are a very bad representation of your company and the way they treat and speak to people is absolutely disgusting) Update: 1/5/2024 So i’ve just been scrolling on zoopla and the 1 bedroom house in sycamore gardens is let now. The agent didn’t even call us back after we put an offer down, or gave us any sort of update whatsoever. I don't even think the landlord is aware that we put an offer down for the property, especially with the fact that they are overseas. Whoever the tenants are…Good luck
