Ginell at Northbeck grange is very helpful and super accommodating. She was amazing with my toddler today (despite her causing havoc) and she even accommodated walking to the site to meet the site manager.She is extremely friendly and very helpful and has made the purchasing of my new home at ease!

After reading the recent review put on by my dad, I am absolutely appauled. The Regional Construction Manager came round and didnt even have a look at the matter. It is nothing to do with the boiler. We mentioned that it is the thermostats that we cannot set them automatically. You clearly cannot read what has been said and if nothing is done by the end of this week, then we are taking legal action to the NHBC as you clearly cannot be bothered to deal with peoples issues. We have been reporting this over the last 12 months and it is absolutely pathetic that you claim you have dealt with the matter when clearly you haven't

TrustpilotDue to a recent phone call
Due to a recent phone call from Gleesons customer care at 8:30am on the 22nd of April. They asked me about my central heating issues which we have reported since we moved into the property in July 2022. During the phone call, I was being advised to keep reporting the matter on my gleesons. On numerous occasions, they have just been ignoring us, they keep saying they will send someone out to have a look at the issue, but nobody has been round to our house. I have now been advised to take legal action against the company. We have spoken to a solicitor and they have said that we have a good case and we are now looking to take legal action.

Good afternoon PeterWe have spoken at length about this issue on multiple occasions, culminating in our Regional Construction Director attending your home to investigate. During this visit it was established that the boiler was being switched off by yourself, and you were advised not to repeatedly turn it on and off. Please can you ensure that you follow these instructions as your boiler will not heat your home appropriately if it is switched off. Our first home. We looked at a few 2beds in other developments and they were so small. The size of gleeson homes are so generous. It’s the only way we could get on the property ladder and we’re so thankful we didn’t have to completely compromise on space. We can’t thank Sharon enough. She went above and beyond in her role, taking time to chase the mortgage broker on our behalves. We didn’t have a smooth run up to the house being ready, there was a lot of background issues and stressors, however none of that was at the fault of Gleeson and Sharon was the one person we could count on to help us through that. She even helped us understand some of the legal jargon. I hope that everyone buying there first home has a Sharon to help them. :) Once we moved in there has been minimal issues and any small problems we had were repaired so quickly. I would recommend Gleeson and this development to anyone. We’ve had the best experience. Thank you, thank you, thank you. ☺️

Me and my partner bought our first home on this site. Throughout the process, we dealt with a lady called Amaara who guided us the whole way through. No question was too much and all of the team at this site are more than happy to help with anything we needed. Would 100% recommend especially as first time buyers, as we were unsure on a lot of things, things would have been a lot more confusing us if it wasn't for Amaara!

Although we haven’t bought a house with Jack at Phoenix meadows we popped in today to show him what we have done since we moved in 7 weeks ago. We purchased plot 76 at Vickers Grange and Jack has been available to offer advise throughout our buying journey. As his site was closer to where we used to live than where we have moved to, we saw him a lot when visiting the show home! The Gleeson team are like a family and words can’t express how grateful we have been to Jack being so friendly. Both Jack and Bev were impressed with what we have achieved, we were also able to express our thanks in person for how excellent Gleeson have been not only during the buying process, but also after completion. It has been and still is a pleasure.

Me and my partner are currently in the process of buy a 3 bed house from gleeson and from the very first day they have treated us with respect and the best customer service. They have walked us through everything and always answered are questions. They ring every week updating us on the house and what stage the house is at . We have mainly been dealing with Victoria from spring Mill who is amazing!! And makes you feel comfortable during the whole process . I've also met the site manager and assistant manager who are both lovely gentlemen and informative about the house . As a young couple being first time buyers I won't recommend any other new build company then Gleeson.

TrustpilotNo Building Regulation Certificate or Planning permission certificate.
I have been in my Gleeson home for just over 2 years and not had many problems, the odd snag but what you would expect in a new build home. I am now however coming to sell the property and have just found out no building regulation or planning permission certificates have been issued… 2 years after completion!! How can Gleeson sell properties with no building regulation certificates?! I have been in touch with the customer care team who have said speak to the solicitor used. I have then spoken to the solicitor who said it is a failure from the developer… so going round and round in circles. I am now seeking legal advice as the properties within the whole development should not have been completely sold until these certificates were in place. I’ll update the review pending an update if I ever get one from Gleeson.UPDATE: Waited three weeks for an update for Gleeson to confirm the works were being done yesterday. What a surprise no one showed up, range them again for them to re-confirm the works were being done today. Shock surprise they have only pulled up some flags, no ramp built and no further progress. Absolute joke of a company continues!

We have now noticed somebody outside our property is starting to plant trees on our private grass verge. Why haven't Gleesons notified people that live in the area that will have to put up with this for the next few years. I want people to know out this is inconvenient and the worst idea ever to come from Gleesons. We can't understand why these trees are being planted as when they start to grow they will block out all our view and the sun. What would happen if we got any more bad weather and the trees blew over and landed in anybodies garden within our area. These will not prevent people from stopping there dogs crapping everywhere and will not stop people on motorbikes on the spare land when coming into darkness and will not stop children playing football outside our property. So let people be aware of where they live, to make sure they don't get trees planted outside there house without being notified.

Thank you for your review PeterWe have checked with our Contracts Manager responsible for your development who has confirmed that the planting that is currently happening is part of the overall development landscaping plan that has always been in place, and forms part of our planning obligations.This then allows this Public Open Space (POS) areas to be transferred to the management company to maintain.Obviously the planting of trees in a POS area is not designed to prevent the issues that you mention, and we would advise any residents experiencing anything criminal or anti social to report matters to the relevant authorities.Any issues relating to planting that you believe are impacting on your property directly should be raised via our Customer Care team, although in this instance we are not aware of any works other than those on the POS areas.Kind RegardsGleeson Homes
