We have been in our home now on monteney park Sheffield for over 2 years, we was the last stage of the development. To this day we still have no street lighting on our road lots of groundwork still to be done. All you get when ringing gleeson homes is that there still waiting on a contracter to finish work, you should not have to pay nearly £200,000 for an house to have to look out of your living room window to an eyesore everyday. From the day we signed for our keys all we've been done is lied to and fobbed off, personally I think gleeson homes are a bunch of cowboys and wouldn't recommend them to anyone

My experience as a first-time buyer went so smoothly, thanks to Kath Morris at the Lune Park Wigan project. From the time I reserved my plot, I was given enough information and guidance. Followed by weekly updates about the building progress which gave me peace of mind. Kath and Helen were kind enough to answer any questions and worries I had. They also granted my wish to have first Christmas in my new home. And I am thankful to everyone who worked tirelessly for that to come true. A huge thank you to Gleeson for building affordable homes. I haven't had any major issues yet and I am grateful for that.

Due to reading the recent reviews, I would not recommend Gleesons customer care team as they do not resolve your problems. I was never contacted about my heating issues and now they are claiming that they had no report from me at plot 56. I would advise people not to buy these properties around the Burnley area. They always cover up for there mistakes

I bought my first home from Deborah at Holbeck Park. She helped make the process as smooth as possible by keeping us well informed about everything and providing good advice where needed. She is a very friendly person and a credit to Gleeson homes.I have had to update my review and change it as my house was given to me in a horrible state. Scuffs to the toilet, bannisters and paintwork around the house and flooring not put down correctly. I had mould growing in the living room which took 7 weeks to resolve. The builders came into my home with muddy shoes and I was promised new carpets, a few weeks later I was told the carpets will not be changed and instead cleaned. Almost a month and a half after getting my keys I still have not moved in due to the ongoing problems. The site manager is on hand to help, however the members of staff within the customer care team are unhelpful.

We have reserved a house through Gleesons on their Rowans estate in Workington and the whole experience we have had has been nothing but positive. The houses themselves are great quality and are very reasonably priced for good quality newbuilds!Jodie Hewitson is the sales rep on the estate and she has been extremely helpful the whole way. She has been great to deal with and keeps in touch on a regular basis with updates on the property and anything we might need to know about the estate or anything that needed relayed to solicitors and mortgage advisors. We are hopefully looking at exchanging contracts in the next few months and can't wait to move in to our new home.
