GoogleMy experience with Gleeson Homes has been extremely concerning. The property I purchased contains multiple defects that fail to meet basic building regulations, the very standards designed to protect lives.
Gleeson’s attitude towards fire safety is particularly alarming. Instead of properly addressing gaps in fire protection, their so-called remedial work has involved covering these gaps with flammable materials. This is not only negligent but demonstrates a complete disregard for occupant safety in favour of quick, cheap fixes.
Due to Gleeson’s incompetence, there is still no proper protection against toxic, explosive, and radioactive ground gases entering the home. Even after multiple attempts, Gleeson has failed to put this right, leaving a major health and safety hazard unaddressed.
Gleeson homes may be cheap, but this is due to their reliance on the cheapest contractors available, which is evident in the corner-cutting, poor workmanship, and low finish quality throughout the build.
Despite raising these issues, responses have been slow and remedial work has remained substandard. Homeowners are left living in unsafe conditions that should never have passed inspection in the first place.
A developer of this scale should prioritise compliance with building regulations (legally the bare minimum)and the safety of its customers above all else. Based on my experience, I strongly advise others to avoid Gleeson Homes.

GoogleI have just bought a house at Middlestone Moor through Gleesons and would highly recommend, absolutely beautiful! To start with the staff are so welcoming and friendly. Took on my final inspection and they were so helpful and got everything spot on. Its was so clean and finished to a 5 star standard! Thank you all again! Enjoyed the experience from start to finish and it was a fabulous experience for my first home!

GoogleIt’s all good up until the point you’ve moved in. Since the old site manager left (Gary) defects reported are ignored or take months to hear back on by that point damage from the defects are far worse. Site manager and customer care communication is terrible they don’t answer the phone or get back to you if you leave a message and don’t reply to emails. It’s a nice place to live but houses are poorly built and as a said there is no care. Avoid.

GoogleHouses are nice lived here 2 years and they still havent tarmacced my road. Your car will take a battering so get a new suspension before you visit. Think theyre just happy to sell houses and not finish work which needs completing for the residents who moved here at the start. Oh and the contractors who cut the grass just chuck rubbish everywhere. People who actually live here though are bob on. Gleeson management feel free to contact me, though i doubt you will.

GooglePoor aftercare. Site team could not care less, once they’ve got your money. Since the old site manager left the communication is shocking. The contractors employed are clumsy, careless and cause damage to people’s property often. The roads are a mess, also. AVOID.
