At no point was anything an inconvenience, they were on the ball and incredibly helpful when it came to prompting and poking the other parties which at times were moving slowly. Matthew and Luca in particular were incredible throughout, an otherwise stressful process was made manageable.

The worst estatge agents I have ever worked with. I am a Doctor in the NHS and after putting an offer down on a property, I was constantly having to call back and take time out of my clinic to get an update and was always told the Manager would call back, but never did. This happened 4 times. I then called on Saturday and explained my frustration and how I was promised a call back multiple times and wanted an update. I was then assured that I would get a call back on Monday. That was a week ago... I can now see the property is sold and not once was I informed or given an update that I asked for countless times. Completely unprofessional and disrespectful. Will never go through Gibbs Gillespie again.

I want to thank Danielle Gennard and Lucy Attwood for the incredible support provided during our house purchase. Buying a house is one of the most (if not the most) stressful experiences that I have been involved. I am sure I am not alone on thinking this and details are unnecessary as each individual will have their particular situations. Nonetheless, Danielle and Lucy were incredible throughout the last 6 months. I want to acknowledge your immense patience to deal with the issues we encountered and the professionalism above all. They were always able to provide us with quick questions and feedbacks (faster than anyone involved in the process) and reassure everyone involved. It is not easy being in the middle of the communication between sellers and buyers but I believe that both Danielle and Lucy dealt with confrontation in a professional, friendly and incredible effective way. Luca was assigned as my sales progression contact a couple of weeks after my house sold. I cannot recommend him enough, every step of the way Luca was contactable by email or on the phone and always responded quickly and with the information I’d asked for. Incredible service from Gibbs, from initially listing my property, to completion, this Estate Agent has been exemplary and professional throughout. They have proven the real worth of an Estate Agent, which is not necessary in the initial listing or selling, but working with both parties and solicitors, in moving things on, reminding us to get certain documents and supporting everyone in progressing. Our property was put up for sale in April 2022 and although the process seemed to be long and drawn out the Gibbs Gillespie team remained positive and calm with us and our situation throughout. We managed to accept an offer in August 2022 and have finally exchanged contracts this week to our delight. Luca has been excellent at communicating with the chain and was always punctual in communicating information and getting back to us on queries. Luca was very proactive to try and sort exchange/completion dates that suited both ourselves and our buyer. We always felt that we knew were we stood with our buyer which took a lot of pressure off us as things were moving a lot slower on our purchasing side. We went with the solicitors that were recommended by Gibbs however if we were to go through the process again we would look into this area in a bit more detail ourselves as at times we felt communication wasn't great and we sensed a lack of urgency from them, we felt we were chasing them around. On the whole we were pleased with the service provided by Gibbs and in particular Luca as we were able to get our property sold and get to move on to our next chapter.
