GoogleFraser & Co is, without a doubt, the most unprofessional and disgraceful agency I’ve ever dealt with. They rented a flat to the mother of my child with a broken boiler in the middle of winter, leaving her without hot water or heating for weeks. At the time, she was pregnant and diabetic, and despite numerous complaints, the agency showed no sense of urgency or care. This was an incredibly stressful and unsafe situation, yet they did nothing to resolve it. Even after the boiler was eventually fixed, the ongoing water supply issues were never addressed. These problems persisted for over a year, even after she had our baby, forcing her to care for a newborn under appalling conditions. Despite raising these issues repeatedly, Fraser & Co failed to take responsibility or act in any meaningful way, demonstrating shocking incompetence and neglect. When she could no longer tolerate the conditions and was forced to move out early, they seemed more concerned with renting the property to another tenant as quickly as possible to secure the landlord’s rent, rather than actually fixing the issues. Now that she’s moved out, Fraser & Co is ignoring requests for the return of her deposit. Their behaviour is disgusting, and the management is extremely unprofessional. Legal action will be pursued. Additionally, it took months to get accurate meter readings, and even weeks after moving out, she still hasn’t received her check-out inventory. The property also had damp and mould when she moved in, which was flagged immediately but ignored. If you’re considering renting from Fraser & Co, my advice is simple: don’t. They are negligent, uncaring, and completely unprofessional. They do not value tenant welfare and clearly prioritize the landlord’s rent over basic living conditions.

GoogleI had the misfortune of renting a furnished apartment through Fraser. Extremely poor service with issues ranging from dirty sheets upon arrival left for me to dispose of, no mailbox key (and none received for over a month), false accusations of unpaid utility bills that were leftover from the prior tenant and late return of the deposit (which was over 4,000 pounds). Avoid at all costs unless you enjoy headaches and spending hours trying to get agents to do their job. EDIT TO RESPOND AND ADD PHOTO: Can agree that sheets were unfolded, unironed and inventory report notes they were not closely inspected. I emailed the agent about this and was advised to dispose of the sheets (image from inventory report attached). Completely understand that agents are not responsible for utility bills, which is why I was shocked to receive an email from a Fraser agent making those false accusations. With respect to the deposit, there was very little communication about process until I repeatedly requested updates. Discussion about deduction was left until a few days before the deposit was scheduled to be returned and then the deposit was ultimately sent on the 30th day and arrived a few days later.

We are sorry that you felt your experience with us did not meet your expectations. However we must correct you on a couple of items. The sheets in the apartment were not listed as dirty in the inventory. They appear to be unironed and not folded but there is nothing to suggest they were dirty. We have no influence over the contract that you have with the utility company and therefore cannot comment if the invoices were inaccurate. The deposit was repaid to you after one month after having to agree deductions between you and the landlord which takes time to agree. Once agreed, it was returned to you promptly and within the guidelines issued by the Tenancy Deposit Scheme and the terms of the agreement that you signed.
