Extremely poor experience with Fraser & Co as a tenant, especially with agent Fajer Ali and Marissa McIntosh in Accounts. The level of incompetence, slow communication and poor administration throughout this tenancy has been unacceptable. I joined the tenancy on 20 July 2026, but my deposit details were not properly registered as they legally should have been. I only received the deposit information on 9 September, and the tenancy agreement was not provided until 10 August, after the tenancy had already started. After a fire on 8 September left the property uninhabitable, we were initially told alternative accommodation would be covered, only for this to be withdrawn. They informed us that all repairs would be completed by 16 September, however, after multiple follow-ups, they only organised contractors to view the premises on 16 September. Then, on 16 September, we were told repairs would not take place for several months until after the insurance claim was processed and were forced to surrender the tenancy, leaving us to find accommodation at very short notice. Additionally, Fraser & Co collected excess payments from us during our tenancy and this discrepancy was not identified by the Agent and would not have come to light if I had not discovered it myself. The Accounts team, namely Marissa McIntosh assured that a refund would be made on 2 September. However, she was unreachable by email and phone call until 16 September, when I was told the refund had been processed and would arrive within 2, 3 working days. Despite repeated follow-ups, it remains unpaid. Overall, an extremely stressful experience caused by poor communication, incompetent administration and failure to resolve issues promptly. I would not recommend this agency and would urge prospective tenants to exercise caution when engaging with this agency.

We had the unfortunate situation of having to terminate a tenancy before it even started, after the buyer of a property we were selling through another agent pulled out at the very last moment. This made an already stressful process even more difficult. Throughout the whole situation, Nazim was by far the most accommodating, understanding, and patient person we dealt with. He handled everything with professionalism and, most importantly, with genuine understanding of our circumstances. His approach made a very stressful situation considerably easier to manage, and we are extremely grateful for his help. This is also not the first time we have worked with Nazim. He was managing the property we are currently selling around six years ago. We would have no hesitation in recommending Nazim and, if the opportunity arises in the future, we are confident that we will seek to work with him again.
