Extremely poor experience with Fraser & Co as a tenant, especially with agent Fajer Ali and Marissa McIntosh in Accounts. The level of incompetence, slow communication and poor administration throughout this tenancy has been unacceptable. I joined the tenancy on 20 July 2026, but my deposit details were not properly registered as they legally should have been. I only received the deposit information on 9 September, and the tenancy agreement was not provided until 10 August, after the tenancy had already started. After a fire on 8 September left the property uninhabitable, we were initially told alternative accommodation would be covered, only for this to be withdrawn. They informed us that all repairs would be completed by 16 September, however, after multiple follow-ups, they only organised contractors to view the premises on 16 September. Then, on 16 September, we were told repairs would not take place for several months until after the insurance claim was processed and were forced to surrender the tenancy, leaving us to find accommodation at very short notice. Additionally, Fraser & Co collected excess payments from us during our tenancy and this discrepancy was not identified by the Agent and would not have come to light if I had not discovered it myself. The Accounts team, namely Marissa McIntosh assured that a refund would be made on 2 September. However, she was unreachable by email and phone call until 16 September, when I was told the refund had been processed and would arrive within 2, 3 working days. Despite repeated follow-ups, it remains unpaid. Overall, an extremely stressful experience caused by poor communication, incompetent administration and failure to resolve issues promptly. I would not recommend this agency and would urge prospective tenants to exercise caution when engaging with this agency.

I honestly cannot recommend Fraser & Co enough. I was dealing with several different agencies at the same time, and the difference in my experience with Fraser & Co was night and day. With others, the process often felt very transactional. I was waiting for responses, constantly chasing and didn't always feel that the urgency of my situation was understood. With Fraser & Co, I felt looked after from the beginning. Robert was fantastic. I had so many questions that he eventually started recognising my number when I called! 😂 But no matter how many times I contacted him, he was endlessly patient, straightforward and genuinely helpful. He took the time to understand what I was looking for, helped me work through the options and ultimately helped me find the right home. More importantly, I was moving under difficult and time-sensitive circumstances, and Robert genuinely understood the severity and urgency of my situation. I never felt like I was simply another applicant or transaction. He understood that I needed to move quickly, kept things clear and straightforward and, most importantly, didn't mess me around. After some of the experiences I'd had elsewhere, that meant an enormous amount to me. Berkhan was equally brilliant throughout the process, both on the phone and when I viewed the flat. He was always happy to answer my questions and was incredibly helpful whenever I spoke to him. During the viewing, he was so patient and gave me all the time I needed to properly look around. I was taking measurements, checking spaces and trying to work out where everything would go, and he happily waited while I did it all! I never once felt rushed or pressured, which allowed me to actually think about whether the flat was right for me. Bianca has been wonderful throughout the administrative side too. Her communication has always been clear and straightforward, she's been lovely to deal with over the phone, and when Robert wasn't available, she was able to step in and answer my questions without me feeling like I had to start the whole conversation again. What really stands out is how well they work as a team. Whoever I spoke to knew what was going on, was willing to help and made what could have been an incredibly stressful process feel remarkably easy. There was a genuine human element to the service that I just wasn't experiencing elsewhere. Moving home is stressful at the best of times, but when you're having to move urgently because of circumstances outside of your control, having people who listen, communicate and actually understand makes such a difference. Robert, Berkhan and Bianca, you have been an absolute dream team. Thank you for your patience with my endless questions, for understanding my situation and for making this entire process so much easier than I expected it to be. We had the unfortunate situation of having to terminate a tenancy before it even started, after the buyer of a property we were selling through another agent pulled out at the very last moment. This made an already stressful process even more difficult. Throughout the whole situation, Nazim was by far the most accommodating, understanding, and patient person we dealt with. He handled everything with professionalism and, most importantly, with genuine understanding of our circumstances. His approach made a very stressful situation considerably easier to manage, and we are extremely grateful for his help. This is also not the first time we have worked with Nazim. He was managing the property we are currently selling around six years ago. We would have no hesitation in recommending Nazim and, if the opportunity arises in the future, we are confident that we will seek to work with him again.
