City Docklands has been by far the best estate angecy I have comes across in the 4 years I have lived in London. My partner and I were looking for a flat in Berdmonsey area and Samantha took such good care of us. All viewings and appointments were arranged smoothly (and keeping our schedules in mind), and the paperwork and references were processed in the blink of an eye. Not sure if that's the agency culture or just Samantha being incredibly professional and personable. She turned what usually is a pretty stressful experience into a walk in the park. Would definitly recommend City Docklands.

Samantha has been spectacular in helping with dealing with the flat I rented. Everything from keeping schedule and helping with negotiations through to being available to follow up on answering questions on legal parameters for lettings. You wont go wrong asking for her when you are looking for a flat and would even go as far as saying that you should just go talk to her and see what flats she has on offer before you go deal with other companies.

Nice team to work with and they were really helpful through out our tenancy. But had a bad experience with the landlord who manages this property and now is holding our deposit as they feel after being up at the property for six years they wouldn’t have to invest anything further for maintenance before they let it out again so they will use our deposit to cover the cost.

Daniel and Samantha have been instrumental in securing our apartment. Daniel was kind enough to do a video viewing for us as we were not able attend ourselves. Had a really tough time with City Docklands, initially took about two weeks of calling to get any response as I was looking to have a change of tenant on my agreement. Overall the entire process was drawn out as it was almost impossible to get in touch with staff when trying to move along with the process of moving out which made it all the more stressful. After I complained to about three different people who all seemed to have different ideas about who was actually dealing with my contract I finally got some help. The new tenant was sent the wrong contract initially which did not include the correct rent prices and was then bullied into signing a new one which as you can imagine caused a lot of commotion and confusion from every end. Overall I would not recommend if you do go through this agency just be aware that you may have to stomp your feet around in order to get heard.

Leasing with City Docklands is not without its challenges. Especially in the beginning when we were assigned a non-experienced agent to show us properties that did not even know how to access the properties. We had a number of issues at move in, but it took a much better turn when we were assigned Michelle Gambier as our Property Manager - she is very kind and proactive. We discussed our concerns with Michelle who adequately addressed them and as a consequence we decided to renew our lease. We look forward to a much easier tenancy in the next year(s) and a trouble-less check out when time comes. If it was possible to give separate ratings, I'd give City Docklands 3 stars and Michelle 5 stars, so rounding it to 4 stars.
