I have been a landlord for over 16 years and Equity is an estate agent I had the misfortune of working in partnership with. I gave Equity full management control of my property within less than six months my rent was in arrears. After three months not once was the rent paid on time. The rent accruals grew, and grew and grew to an excess of £5,740 and nothing could be done. I informed Equity about my stress and anxiety and Equity in my opinion did not do anything to alleviate my stress and anxiety. Not only this, the drawn out saga lasted for three years and each time I seeked help from Equity and they were not able to give me concrete help on matters on how to get my house back. They just said it is my responsibility!!!! I ended up haemorrhaging my cash balance by seeking my own legal advice. It cost me nearly £2000 in solicitor fees but it was the best £2000 I had spent. However, the trauma, anxiety and stress I faced seeking my own independent legal assistance with minimum help from Equity was overwhelming. I am a person of colour and I am diverse, what was even more important for me regardless of the money lost, the rent accruals of £5,740, my own legal fees of nearly £2000 was Equity did not deal with my complaints. Losing £7,740 was not the worst thing about the whole episode but the complaints I made to Equity more than once about being treated unfairly were not dealt with to my satisfaction!

We had a great relationship built on trust and good communication. The communication was via text he was very responsive and available for any queries we had.

We sold our house through Equity and can’t recommend them enough.From listing our property during the week, arranging an open day on the Saturday and us accepting an offer on the Monday!Special mention to Darren who listed the property and took professional photos. Matthew who showed our property and also dealt with our buyers.Helen especially has been absolutely fantastic, she works so so hard, it has been such a pleasure dealing with her. She is an asset to the company and anyone who deals with her. She kept us updated throughout the whole process, dealing with solicitors and other agents in the chain. Clear and regular updates. Paris especially was really helpful with finding out information that the solicitor had asked for. Darren and the team provided updates when requested. Overall, Equity provided an efficient service. (The only negative experience we had was with the solicitor recommended by Equity, who we found to offer quite a poor service in terms of communication.)

The service I received from all the guys at Equity was absolutely fantastic too many names to mention but definitely special shout to Darren, Josh, Helen and Kyrie who are all absolutely fantastic and made sure to get my sale over the line despite a lot of obstacles being put in the way! The sale was a complicated one but they were nothing but honest with me and I couldn’t have asked for a better service. If you’re on the fence about what estate agent to use definitely use there guys 100% you will not regret it whatsoever. Huge thank you again and would definitely use these guys again !

The customer experience has been outstanding and consistent sitting on the fence as both a buyer and seller. I have to say the team are an honest bunch. Kyrie and Darren definitely went the extra mile with selling my property, which was probably one of the most challenging properties to sell with all the negatives I.e courtyard garden and downstairs bathroom. Nevertheless, due to their experience and polished customer service skills, they did it. My first buyer pulled out and they found another buyer within weeks. They went above and beyond with their dedication, by working pass the hour. I also faced challenges with finding a property to buy, due to the shortage of properties and other external factors. They found me another property within a short space of time. Kyrie and Darren are a credit to Equity and definitely set the bar high. Definitely pivoting to the new, from the traditional practices of this sector. Helen was also great in ensuring I was kept up to date and with the chases.
