From start to finish, Arturo, Darren, and Jay were efficient, involved and quick with their responses. Their coordination with solicitors and surveyors helped keep everything moving smoothly and their communication throughout the process was always clear and reassuring. A special mention must go to Jay, who has been exceptional. Every interaction with him has been positive, polite, and genuinely kind. He brings a personal touch that makes a real difference. Not only is he honest and transparent he spent a great deal of time explaining the processes of being a first time buyer and seamlessly guiding me through the process. He has been firm but fair, challenging me to consider the right pieces to the ever evolving puzzle and has been a guide as well as a great agent! I could not be happier with the class A service equity and specifically Arturo have provided so far!

GoogleUnfortunately, this was one of the worst experiences I’ve had with an estate agent due to the complete lack of respect for people’s time. I booked a valuation with Arturo Ciuffa a week in advance for a Friday appointment. I arranged time off work and organised childcare specifically for this. Then, 5 minutes before the appointment, Arturo cancelled via WhatsApp claiming he had a flat tyre. That may have been genuine, but what was unacceptable was the complete lack of effort to rearrange the appointment for later that day. Instead, he immediately pushed for an “online valuation” because he had seen an advert for my flat from 5 years ago and claimed he didn’t need to visit in person. This then turned into a long phone call where he spent around 30 minutes criticising the valuation of a historic advert we had only listed briefly years ago. To make matters worse, we also had another appointment scheduled the same day with his colleague Alex to view a property at 19 Pollards Close, Goffs Oak. Arturo cancelled that viewing too, saying there were already 3 viewers in similar positions to ours and one person had an offer accepted on their chain, so viewing the property would “basically be a waste of time.” So after making us commit to two weekday appointments, taking time away from work and family arrangements, both were cancelled last minute with very little professionalism or consideration. What makes this even more frustrating is that the property still does not appear as “offer accepted” on Zoopla or other platforms, which raises serious questions about why viewings were being blocked in the first place. It gave the impression they were more interested in generating leads and controlling offers than genuinely acting in the seller’s best interest. Overall, Arturo made it very clear that if he decides your property or buying position is not commercially attractive enough, the service level drops immediately into a low-effort approach focused only on the quickest possible commission. In the end, I’m glad I didn’t proceed with them. Serious sellers and buyers deserve better communication, transparency, and basic respect for their time.
