Purchase and sale

We sold and purchased a property via Equity, Enfield town. Overall the experience was really good. There was some miscommunication on a couple of things; one being I asked not to have a ‘for sale’ board outside my property as I didn’t want the neighbours knowing we were on the market. This was honoured but after we accepted an offer our neighbours received a leaflet through their door confirming our property had been sold. This was disappointing. The other matter was due to change of staff and was cleared up by Darren in the progression team. Darren was fantastic to work with, provided regular updates and even when things weren’t going well in the chain, always answered my calls and provided guidance. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

I bought a house through Equity, the team were fantastic in helping me secure the house and assisting my seller with their onward purchase (thanks Demetri). I cannot recommend Equity enough as Darren Nelson, the progressor, is exceptional. Darren kept me sane through a long and complicated sale (absolutely nothing to do with Equity), he was tenacious in ensuring the chain kept moving, he kept me up to date with all developments and was unfailingly patient the whole way through. I would highly recommend Equity to friends and family.

After almost 20 years in my home, I decided it was time to review my property value and consider my next move. I met Equity Estate Agents initially as they sold my neighbour’s house, and every interaction was friendly and professional. Alex was especially helpful, he took the time to speak with me during a final inspection and gave genuine reassurance about the new neighbours, which naturally led to a conversation about my own home. Alex booked Arturo in for a valuation and Arturo was brilliant - thorough, confident and clear about the plan. Shortly after, Alex and Arturo arranged a viewing for me in Crews Hill the next day and I loved the property. Arturo followed up promptly on the Monday and I confirmed I wanted to move forward. The speed and organisation was incredible, by Saturday we had 7 viewings booked before the photos were even ready, and by the Monday we had agreed an offer. They were very professional with vetting potential buyers, confirming appointments and giving us feedback promptly from the viewings. There are estate agents… and then there’s Arturo with Equity - the man, the myth, the maestro of the market. When I first met him, I expected the usual spiel: “great location, lots of interest, we’ll be in touch.” What I got instead was a verbal ballet of market knowledge and charm so smooth I half expected him to sell me back my own house. Arturo doesn’t sell property, he orchestrates it. The man could negotiate peace treaties before lunch and still have time to stage manage a viewing with mood lighting and the perfect playlist.
