Dear Kevin, Thank your feedback. A few points I'd like to respond with. We do not manage the property so being blamed for the tone the landlord took with you is a little unfair. Also the amount the landlord chooses to market the property is really his call. However I'd like to point out that it is a fairly standard increase and certainly inline with the current market. We are asked to try at a level and we typically oblige but also offer our own thoughts. Regarding the T&C's you signed, I believe this was sent to you when requested and there is a clause to keep the property in a clean and good condition. Now I'm not in the habit of telling people how they live, we all have a different opinion of what is clean or good condition. All my staff did was pass on the feedback we get from applicants that view and their thoughts on what would help to gain an offer from these applicants. I'm sorry if you have taken umbrage to the comments made but we are expected to give honest feedback to our clients. I have seen some of the correspondence coming from my team where they apologies at the inconvenience is caused but as you can I'm sure appreciate, the quicker for all people concerned we get this let asap. "In relation to the viewings, I am sorry for the inconvenience the viewings may cause but can assure you that we want to let the property as quickly as possible, in order not to inconvenience you anymore than necessary". Hi Ra Yokai, unfortunately we can not show everyone the properties they choose to view. If an applicant can not meet the criteria of our 3rd party referencing company to pass the referencing, then they will FAIL their referencing. This will mean that they can not be recommended to the landlords. We therefore would not wish to waste anyone's time, including you by showing a property that meant they could not take up the tenancy. With lots of tenants struggling to find because of the lack of properties coming to the market, we recommend all tenants have the relevant information they require when registering and then viewing. Sorry you could not view but I'm sure there was a valid reason not to show you the property. Regards Richard Eddison

1 Star is rather harsh Michal. Your viewing took place at the allotted time that you requested. The incumbent tenant was aware we were coming so I'm not sure why it was awkward? JP has been spoken to and he confirms there was no awkwardness on his part? We had multiple offers on the property one of which was yours, this was then emailed across to our client for her consideration. The property was on the market with another agent also so the landlord took a while to confirm her acceptance of any offer. She unfortunately went with a single person and not a couple. However where I agree with you and apologies to you, is that you should have been contacted to confirm your offer was not accepted. That was an oversight by the negotiator who dealt with the offer and he has been made aware of his oversight and his customer service on this occasion has fallen short our the companies expectation. Hi Niko, I'm sorry you feel that eddisonwhite are to blame for a dispute between you and the landlord for the condition that the property was left in when you vacated. Please understand this is not eddisonwhite fault that the landlord felt you mistreated his property. When the TDS are asked to adjudicate on a dispute, we legally have to hold back the amount being claimed, until the dispute is resolved and the TDS has made their final decision (This can take some time but is out of our hands). As far as I am aware, you had lived in the property for approx 3 years without any real issue so I feel your rating is rather harsh on eddisonwhite and undeserved .
