I don't often provide reviews, but I must say that my experience with Durden was nothing but a breeze. Me and my wife's experience with Dawn, was nothing but a pleasure. Dawn was proactive, informative and most importantly genuine. At no point did she take our contentions personally, she smiled and always had an alternative. Dawn did not make us feel like clients, she made us feel like we were family. Dawn was always professional, but her charisma came from how good at her job she was. It can be daunting dealing looking for a property and the stress that comes with it, but Dawn and her girls at D&H made it that we had one less problem to deal with. I can't speak highly enough about her, and honestly will recommend all my friends and colleagues to seek her council. If you're looking in the Loughton area, ask for her. Thank you all ever so much

GoogleOur house sale involved dealing with a buyer who seemed to have extraordinarily complicated financial arrangements. This made the process rather drawn out. At all times Ross and his fellow workers at Durden and Hunt kept us informed and involved in decision making. GoogleOur experience with Durden and Hunt has been entirely positive. We went on the market with another agency and they took roughly 5 months to sell the house. This is because they over inflated the price of the property just to gain our business. We eventually decided to switch to D&H. They sold the property after just weeks. Unfortunately the chain collapsed after 7 months. They sold the property again after 4 days of putting it back on the market. We are now completing tomorrow after a further three months, which is in my opinion a reasonable time to complete. The team at D&H have been fantastic. In particular Amanda Stark. She has guided us the whole way. She has provided clarity with industry jargen, reassurance to trust in the process. When things got frustrating, Amanda was always on the end of the phone to listen to us and provide guidance and advice. She chased all parties connecting to the move every single day and responded to emails almost straight away. It felt like she had all the time in the world to talk to us and this was honestly the most important thing. We honestly could not have done this without her. If there was a better way to show our appreciation, we would 100% do it. I know people reading this will think, “well she’s just doing her job”, but trust me when I say she went above and beyond to get us over the line. GoogleI had a fantastic experience with Amanda Stark throughout my house purchase. She was incredibly helpful, professional and always kept me updated throughout the process. Amanda regularly followed up with the solicitors to help keep everything moving towards completion, and she was always quick to respond to emails. Whenever I called, she either answered or made sure to call me back promptly. Buying a house can be a stressful process, but Amanda made things much easier with her communication, professionalism and willingness to help. I really appreciated how involved and proactive she was right through to completion. Grace was incredibly helpful as she showed us round the property twice and was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. GoogleI was selling a probate property that was a little rundown to say the least. When Ross came to value the house he picked up on all the positives - not negatives. Ross was extremely personable from start to finish, kept in regular contact to help things along, and very persistent with the buyer's solicitor to get it done on the completion date. Not to mention achieving a sale price over £50k more than other Estate Agents valuations. I'd recommend D&H Hornchurch branch in a heartbeat. Well done Ross.

From the moment Grace helped helped us secure our dream home to Amanda, who ensured every step of the process was kept on track and frankly without her I strongly feel the chain would have collapsed. At times even when we were losing faith, She ensured that everyone was on the same page dragged us to the point of Exchange and Completion date.
